7 holes exposed for a 4-door JL hardtop but I have a 4.door JL One Touch Power Top and it is full length of the cab (no freedom panels). So, how many holes can be exposed safely? I need this to be as long as possible. Thanks

You have the "Build Your Own Kit" and there are a few parts available but I wish all the different components such as the Lifting Frames, Platform Frames, and other components were available for customers who may have one set up but want to change it down the road or even... sell their Jeep for a Bronco. :)

How can I figure out if I should install it inside or outside of the reinforcement plate? I don't know what shell I have.

Preferably do not use the topper's brake light as it may not be centered. LEER recesses theirs (like the one in this video) but ATC/Jason/Ranch, and perhaps others surface mount theirs. My Jason is 1/2" off center. Whatever manufacturer, check it for equal distance. Best to find center by measuring from either the top of the side windows or the lower edge of the topper's skirt. Although the window heights could be inconsistent too. I recommend double measuring from both locations. This is the best video out there and the only one that mentions the reinforced roof area. This is very, very important and structurally the absolute best place for attachment. Outside the reinforced area is thinner fiberglass. Cheers Garage Smart!

This is insane why would a company make a installation video and spilt them up. This forces customer to have to go search the next one to watch in order, have to deal with ads, load times exct. People are busy we want a video how to install and then go install. I sure hope this is no indication of how your product works and that it was just a poorly executed task given to a inexperienced employee because how the installation video is it tells me it’s a cheap poorly ran Chinese import company with inadequate products.

Just picked this up for my parents to hang Rad e-bikes from ceiling to make space in garage. This thing works great! Easy to use.

Whatttt? Roof sheet metal is thin and putting the rails there is like sticking it to paper… who teach you that?

What rail manufacture are these rails you used for your install? Thule or yackima?

What happens if your stud finder keeps on pointing out studs but every time you drill there's nothing behind the drywall That's happened to me every time I've tried to mount something to the ceiling in my garage I have yet to find a single piece of wood in my ceiling

You have holes for the Jeep 2 dr and 4dr. What hole should be used for the 4 Door Bronco? For Part A and B. Also need for the D and E and pully frame.

Good tip about using a sheet of paper when using studfinder. We have that popcorn-y junk which makes it more difficult to find the joists.

Do you have a real instillation guide? The instructions you sent me are so small and this is the only guide you have? It's not even a guide

So how do you configure the new design into the double lift? It has the longer bolts and spacer but they’re carriage bolts and no additional nuts. Seems there’s no way to connect them without cutting or modifying things or finding extra locknuts at the hardware store

This was awesome! I love that this covered things that could go wrong and the visual references for what that might look like. I am working up the confidence to install some hooks in my ceiling and scouring CZcams for helpful tips. This is one of the best so far, (give or take the humour, I'm on the fence). Also, the guy's delivery is a little reminiscent of Nick Offerman, so kudos to that. A gem of a vid.

Loved the commercial. Actually I saw it play on a video and had to find it again to show my wife, creative edit for sure. Made me wish I had one back when I had my hardtop.
