There’s very little risk with sport climbing. It’s the safest way to climb.

Pretty sure there is but I can’t remember from the top of my head.

Thrustmaster was a pain, wouldn’t let you do it but now RSF has soft lock feature so don’t have to bother with this method anymore

Yeah it’s nice isn’t it, I’ve only managed a few runs through each stage so far over the holidays, was hoping for more rig time but the odd hour here and there throughout the week is the best I can get at the minute. There’s a mega looking Ireland rally starting this week though so hoping I can turn up for that at least.

No, using a wheel, Thrustmaster T818. There are keyboard players out there though, god knows how they do it 😂

@@kevedwards yeah, I play mostly with keyboard, but it's pretty hard to race middle engined cars that way. They are more sensible to weight transfer by braking, throttling. By the way, it's posible to tame the beasts with a few setup tweaks 😂

@@kevedwards I thought you were playing with keyboard by your technique of chopping the throttle a bit on mid corner.

@@matiasdun6599 that’s probably more down to my cheap pedals, the accelerator has a really light with a short throw so it’s quite hard to modulate. Hopefully won’t be long now till I upgrade them.

@kevedwards has a lot of areas the stage slows down. I think it might be the reshade.

@SleepyPantsSimRacing More than likely yeah, reshade can be demanding on FPS and not really worth it IMO, it ruins the natural look from the stages and makes it look like your playing through an Instagram filter.

I’ve honestly not noticed it while driving but can see why it would put people off buying it. I hope they improve the QR in the future but Thrustmaster seem so freaking slow with their releases.

Completely gone in the Handbrake but can’t quite get to where it squeaks on the pedals fully but it’s a lot less noticeable. 👍

No problem 👍, not sure how many vids I’ll make, just trying to squeeze some in here and there but realistically I’ll never have the time to do it properly but quite enjoying it again regardless. I give all my recording equipment away though so trying to make do with a mobile phone and Nvidia replays 😂.

@markthibault8579 cheers bud, monitor is 3840/1080 49’ ultrawide. It’s fairly old now, one of the first of this size that came out I think.

@@kevedwards Nice. My rig, and my eyesight, is a bit older now and I would prefer to stay with 1080p if I go with an ultra-wide.

Tricky in the rain though, really struggled finding the grip.

Slow but so damn iconic. Been driving it a fair bit lately but it’s definitely at a disadvantage in its class.

It is, doesn’t seem to get used much as I think most people drive the Subaru in that class but I love it, just reminds of 90’s British rallying. Plus I had that model escort (not the cosworth) way back until I crashed it into a lamppost 🤣

These modern cars absolutely fly, the faster guys seem to be flat out for almost a full stage, crazy.

So far I think it’s great, I’ve just finished a long rally leg, about 3hrs solid rallying and it held up perfectly. I’ll do a first impressions video after about a week.

@@clio2rsminicup it’s 10nm constant but I’ve heard people say the peak is more but nothing official from Thrustmaster. I don’t really play track racing games but I might download AC to see what it’s like with a DD.

I’ve had the ultrawide for a while now and love it. Tried VR a while ago but I just found it too hot and uncomfortable in the end.

🤣 I tried with it on the right for a bit but couldn’t get used it it, plus I always wanted to make sure my muscle memory was there for real life rallying. I have thought about switching it again but it would be a pain in the arse getting it all to fit.

It’s amazing that it still holds up. EAWRC looks worse on my system to be honest bit it looks great on other peoples from what I’ve seen.

@kevedwards it looks good With upscaling but some of the newer rbr stages feel more authentic to me than the stages in wrc.

@@SleepyPantsSimRacing yeah definitely, I honestly still love the vanilla stages, specially the uk stages and they’re so well optimised but some of the latest Stages from Jan and others are next level and from what they say they’re not even close to maxing the possibilities.
