Hi there. 👋 I need your help finding the right type of paint for my bathroom. It's to paint over wooden surfaces which had old yellowed gloss I've already sanded down. Is there a water-based paint, for bathroom wooden surfaces which can withstand moisture exposure 💦 most recommended bathroom paints are designed for ceilings & walls 🤨

I know this video is two years old but I gotta ask why didn't you use fabric dye or fabric paint?
Fabric dye wouldn't work well on a thicker material like leather, because it doesn't absorb liquids in the same way woven fibers do. It would either look stained and patchy or it wouldn't work at all.

Worked with Annie Sloan. Saved $45. because I just needed to repair a small nick. Then I discovered I could just use some warm water and rub a wet brush on a piece of the paint like using water colors. With this I covered some black scratch marks on a wall. Wonderful hack.

Once the wax is fully dried, it won't transfer.

Hi depends on how much paint is there, not too much as you don't want watery paint. Add a little at a time

No need with what I did and using this paint on new slabs, biggest thing is cleaning old slabs to remove all the alge and build up.
Can you use wax based shoe polish?
I've not tried it, I would be worried about sitting on it and getting stained bum lol
Excellent tutorial, I am currently painting my wardrobe and dresser in chalk paint. I discovered the light sanding bit but I was seeing light and dark afterwards. My problem is when I finish with a lightly polished surface (sand) will the polyvine even out the colour or should I gently polish until the colour is even first? Hope you understand what I mean, I would experiment but its taking me ages to get it finished. I tried wax on a polished bit and the colour appeared to even out but it maybe different as a whole. I would be so grateful for any knowledge you have regarding this. Alison, Scotland.
Thank you so much. It will to certain extent, as long as you've got enough paint on there and its flat then you are good to go.

Worst plastering I've ever seen , he said he's not a plasterer ! , but his work his acceptable!, not being funny but it's not acceptable, and should never plaster again, I hope that's his own home
Why are you so triggered? Another professional plasterer butt hurt 🤣🤣🤣 The surface is flat and smooth, how can that be the worst you've seen? Is it the best technique? No. Is it fast and clean enough to do it on a job? No. But it is acceptable, how can you say it isn't as you havent seen it? Sad 🤣
I am fully qualified plasterer of 15 year's.... everything in this video is wrong and I mean everything find another video if you want to try it out there's better guides on CZcams. I was sent this by my apprentice and well let's just say me and my senior plasterer's where shocked and amazed 🤣🤣
Please tell me what's wrong because end result is suitable, rather than getting triggered because you're a "qualified plasterer" Maybe do a video to show us how amazing you are. It might be wrong in your eyes but if a DIY follows this, they can get a wall plastered to a decent standard, that's a fact because I've just done that entire room.
