I saw him at Irving Plaza in 1985 with this band. It was a great show. I remember Michael Monroe came out. Great times. JT was one of a kind. What a great band!

Saw these guys in Los Angeles that year. I'd gone to the show for PWEI and that was my introduction to TBA... They stole the show and I've been a fan ever since. Never quite understood why they weren't huge in the states.

And Frusciante is only 20-years-old here. he joined RHCP when he was 18. He was the underdog coming in after Hillel - and he absolutely murdered as one of the best ever to pickup a guitar.
