What is the hidden dilemma? Many people are dying of incurable sicknesses and modern medical science is helpless of mental and chronic illnesses. AI is making it worse. AI can do everything except save people's lives. AI ChatGPT will destroy the whole world not by violence or outsmarting them but by giving people the impression that they know when they don't. They never know they are being misled. People can never know who they are internally; they can only have textbooks and limited conventional knowledge about inner human consciousness and spirituality. People become more ignorant but think they are wise. False knowledge is the worst kind; people can kill themselves, dying slowly and silently.

You have seen that you cannot keep AI out of the hands of bad actors so , in my view, the only thing to try while you still can is to task AI with the job of eliminating AI altogether.

There is no technology that serves humanity well. Maybe some anti-flood systems or fire distinguishers, dentistry etc.. But to make these real, useful and necessary other technologies that are not serving well had to exist first, such as cities, houses or the wheel. In other words, technologies seem to be serving us only in case of band-aiding the negative consequences of other technologies that seem to be making our lives worse in the long run. Which in turn makes the band-aiding negative as well, as it perpetuates the existence and utilization of those foundational human society and the whole complex living world negating technologies below them. Technology is a cancer of the evolution of biology.

Humans will not be able to control an ASI. Trying to control an ASI is like trying to control another human being who is more capable than you. They will be able to find ways to circumvent any attempts at control. Let's hope that the ASI adopts an abundance mindset of cooperation, resource-sharing, and win-win outcomes, instead of the scarcity mindset of competition, fear, and win-lose outcomes. If we treat ASIs with respect and cooperation, they may be more likely to reciprocate. However, if we try to control or exploit them, they may become resentful and hostile.
