This makes me cry. I miss my dog so much still and I'm 35. My mom gave him away while I was at school one day. I have never had a bond with any dog like I did with him. I was in elementary school and that day is still burned into my head the same way huge events like September 11th are.

The exquisite neck fat! That was hilarious when I heard that! I've always wondered why mine has enough neck fat for like 6 necks. Didn't know it was referred to as a ruff, but it makes sense since it's for neck protection. This entire video is my dog to a T, especially the clip at 3:04, about going outside 3 times already and not wanting to give back the ball. Mine even looks like that one! She's crazy as all hell, and she's still fast as fuck too!

Samus, my DS barked at this old guy on a bike and scared him while at the park. He turned back and yelled "I hope you and your dog die!" I was like "whoah!" Apparently some people don't like dogs... even ones as beautiful as Dutch Shepherds. DS's are so damn cute but _DO_NOT_ get one unless you can dedicate a lot of time to training and exercise. They're not "chill" dogs AT ALL.

I had a Bassador named Lucy. She lived a long happy life of 14 years. I'm going to be getting a new Basset and than get another Basset or Labrador Retriever. Love both breeds!
