Thank you. Great video. I have been looking for a place to run 2 small wires through firewall on my 2012 Yukon. Most videos say to cut the boot in main wire harness. That is just asking for problems. My 2012 Yukon had exactly the same dimple and hole on the inside. It is much easier to drill carefully from inside of the truck. Cheers.

You went the wrong way bro suppose to be counterclockwise on outside edge of metal or anything and doorways or inside edge is clockwise💡

That dimple and hole is where the clutch pedal and master cylinder go through the firewall on the mexican market trucks.

Lose the shoe base. Pick up the pace. They are can lights or recessed cans. A pot light is what you probably use to help things grow..

Bro…..you don’t need to drill. Drop the wire down, run underneath and come up through the floor grommet tht holds the emergency brake cable. There’s a spot in the pass side as well in the same spot but requires a step bit and is the BEST spot I’ve EVER seen for a pass through.

I found the hole and it would be a perfect place, but how am I supposed to fit a drill either under the dash or in the engine bay… like… am I just dumb? It’s impossible to fit anything larger then like 4 inchs into the space on either side

On my dad’s 09 Silverado, that dimple and the hole in the plastic on the inside of the cab did not line up, they were about an inch off. No big deal though, just has to drill all the way through the plastic from the engine bay side. Thanks for the help, everyone else says to punch a hole through that big boot and run the wires through and that seems like a pretty slapdash way to do it.

I had the same issue few days ago. I check the gas cap and fuel lines. clean the carburetor, unclog the small holes of the screw located at the bottom of the carburetor. Add fresh gas, and lastly unplugged the green wire connected to the metal covering the carburetor thus leaving the carburetor exposed. It was running like a champ.

How about 2004 GM trucks are there any pre holes?

Noma, Brute and others were made by Murray. This video was done eight years ago as of December 2020, if you have limited or no mechanical ability, every engine has a model number, get the number go to eBay type in the number and buy a replacement carburetor for usually under 15 bucks, they're Chinese which is why they're so cheap, there are plenty of videos on CZcams on how to replace it, either that or you need to dismantle the carb and clean it but it's much easier to replace it, again it all depends on your skill level, I don't think I've ever seen a Tecumseh carb that didn't at some point get all gunked up inside, especially poorly maintained ones, I picked up a toro mower somebody threw out, it needed a new starter cord, I replaced that then took the bowl off the carb and it was the worse I ever saw, the bowl was full of water and there was corrosion, I decided to first give it a blast with carb cleaner, wiped the bowl out, took the needle valve out which is the source of most idle problems, it was clogged, I took my micro brill bits and cleaned all the passages put everything back together filled it with new gas and it started right up and ran great, people throw out perfectly good things because they don't maintain them properly. I picked up a 27 inch 9hp noma snowblower someone put on the curb, I brought it home put gas in it and it started right up, it needed a new auger cable, a tube in one tire, and new skid shoes, it even has a light, you can tell it was kept outside, it has a huge metal chute, the whole thing is built like a tank.

On my 2013 silverado, the larger outward area inside the engine compartment does not align with the square indent inside the cab if anyone is making that comparison. That square area is even where the engine head meets the block at the rear of the engine about 4" to 6" lower and to the left.
