INSIDE - Submersible Skip (Out of Bounds & Deathwarp)
This video shows how to skip a big part of the Submersible chapter, with the use of a couple of pushbacks to drop Out of bounds in a room bellow the jetbox, then performing a death warp to reach the Watergirl chase sooner than normal.
It's a very tricky skip to perform, and it's barely faster than the normal route - unless we find a better/faster way to get OoB, or reach a later checkpoint for the DeathWarp ... anyways, the work continues o/

This is the NEW strat for the "boxes & lift" puzzle, in Tire Factory. It saves roughly 0.5 sec compared to the normal strat (regardless of the outcome). Comparison: NORMAL (single box push) VS. 90 degrees bugslide at CP2 - going over sad towards CP3 - cutting over grass directly to CP4 ... this saves almost 1 sec compared to the normal route

If you're interested parheion you cna save like up to half a second on the fire tyres bit. Where you stop yu can make just passed the thick tuft of grass to the right of you which should save time I think.
Can you please explain how the hell you do the trapped rope jump like that? I've tried it numerous times and I wither get hit by the trap OR I'm way to low to grab the ledge 😒
Never in a million years would I think you could make that first drop. The death height in these games are so inconsistent..... So is the drowning rate.
Is it intentional that the arrow keys and icons overlap at the bottom right?

wonder if there's ever been a game where running while -spamming jump- precisely timing repeated jumps is slower -than normal- in all circumstances
you're in luck, because this is one of those games \o/ just in case you're unaware, the jumping pattern in this game is the opposite of "spamming" ... we actually have to time each individual jump, by pressing it a few frames after landing - so we need to wait for the character to get full speed, before we jump - this happens pretty quick after landing, but not instantly, so it's okay if you haven't noticed, but yeah - we don't spam also, I have to point out that there are a lot of sections were we let the boy run instead of jumping, because when there's a chase going on, the boy has increased speed, and jumping would be detrimental - so this is another reason we are in luck xD this is one of those game where running is faster than jumping \o/
@@parhelion3927 I understand now and will correct the attached message, though is interesting how common it is in game design to make horizontal jump speed greater than walk speed, through impulse or air strafe. It appears to originate from a trade between motion accuracy, code complexity, artstyle, and player convenience, where for a while I've been trying to find a solution that does not compromise one.
@@samuels1123 you shouldn't have changed/edited your original point :( didn't mean you were wrong in principle - just your phrasing left a bit of room for me to post a quick-witted reply without delving too deep into it, that was all... but yeah, I agree with your second comment, and I also think it's a solution that solves a lot of game-related problems, but always ends up being exploited instead of making the game look/feel natural... btw, speaking of other approaches/solutions, stamina in Little Nightmares was fun casually, but ofc it introduced a lot of other problems into the mix, so yeah - nature and simulation will never be indistinguishable... imo

everything you see (and much more) is still possible ... the game hasn't been updated from day1

It may be a little off-topic, but I wonder if people use camera hacks to help identify possible exploits in the map, or just by trial and error? It's just difficult for me to imagine how some of these things get discovered.
It's wild that someone could find the type of anomaly seen at 13:00, which in some cases must have taken you hours to find the most optimal way possible. I don't know if the repeated jumping against the wall is a way of counting time or if that needs to be done just to get it to work, but the amount of effort and perseverance it must have taken you to achieve this record breaking goal is very impressive.

you're gonna have to be more specific than that ... because the entire end section is complicated and dangerous (especially for a casual player, going for the no-death achievement) ... so, you have to practice, and when you feel confident enough - go for it!

i dont understand why dont you skip it faster , i mean why jumping randomly , i need context
because of the way the level is designed, and how the "freaks" behave, the movement you see is necessary to clear the door context: the mine door is a pretty wide physical object, so it takes a lot of "pushback" to clear it ... every movement involving the "freaks" (getting picked up, surfing on them, and dropping down) gradually moves the boy (character) more into the foreground ... the group needs to be far enough into the foreground so they can fallow the boy to the mine-door (otherwise they just stop on the pressure plate and don't move) ...@3:03 I get the "freaks" far enough away, this is why I start dropping only towards the door ... @3:25 you can see the group reaching the door, but it's solid - that's why you see me do a lot of pushback into the door (which moves the character further and further into the foreground) eventually reaching the edge of the mine-door @4:42 \o/ btw: it's possible to clear the door towards the background as well, but it's a much longer process ... so, obviously, we're going for the fastest method :)

yes, but you're not able to survive that fall (through casual gameplay) ... it's only doable with specific tech + positioning + timing (aka: Scaffold skip)
