I’m not convinced you can fight at heavyweight with your hands by your sides like Pereira. The margin for error is too small. Doesn’t matter how good you are. Tom also trains kickboxing with Rico Van Hooven, so without even mentioning the grappling gap I just don’t see what Pereira brings that Tom wouldn’t deal with fairly easily.
