I finally found them, a death stock pair of 1914 Dr martens boots, these are discontinued and not made anymore, thus the idea to make an in depth review of them, as to compare vintage boots vs newer ones.

Any idea when these babies were actually made?
So im looking at getting my second pair of docs which are the 1914's black unfortunately but Im a size 10 should I get an 11 or keep to 10 because I like the closed look i want that look actually.
Them boots are cool ! I work whit Dr.Martens and going out ' also , and when people see me they seems happy or even suprised ; hey cool boots ! . In London mate ! :)

Proper way to wear camo with ultra highliner docs ,is to have them tapered down to a 7" approx leg opening,then cropped to desired length with a 1/2 inch or smaller turn up. Or leave the full 32" length tucked into yours boots,the slimmer tailored leg will look smart without the silly looking baggy knee's and pant mushroom over top of your boots. You fresh cuts are welcome. Oi!

I recently bought a pair of 14 eyes but I can not fully close them is that because there not broken in?
Thats because you have a bigger leg than mine.They do give with time, but as much as i like the closed look, its best with a bit of room to spare, and not overstretch. Even though they look closed, they still fit a bit loose.

No they still sell them. But in Black. Hi Shine. Made in Asia. However, the made in Asia boots might have gone up in quality lately. They might of had some bad years but according to one CZcamsr his first pair were made in Asia and he’s worn them regularly for years and still has his original pair and they still look great. He has since added more doc martens and solovairs to his collection

In my city, Doc Martens got in a bit of hot water for a billboard of a pair of boots laced with red plaid flats, which have never had any meaning whatsoever. And yet, Wattie from Lion's Law and Nick from Violent Way both wear white laces on their boots, and they're both SHARPs.

Hey what length laces are they in cm?
Ill do a lace video soon, but for 1 ankle turn i use 210 cm laces. Always jump to the next size, eg use 140 for 8 eyes and for a wrap use 30cm more, so 170, and then 210 for 10 eyes.

I just bought a pair on EBAY for $125.00 brand new! I used to buy my Dr.Martens from Shelly's Shoes in London in the 80's you could not buy them in North America at the time 14 hole Dr Martens were 24 pound 99p back then.
