Making it yet again. I have made it for myself in many colors- I always have compliments. This one is being made to comfort a pregnant daughter in law. I remember the shawl my grandmother made for me when I was pregnant with my first... I literally wore it out. I will pray that kind of love into this one as I crochet. Do you think this would be beautiful in 100% silk? Though i don't think it probably is since can't block the silk. I bought a 50% merino/50%silk then couldn't find the tutorial when it arrived. Or should i just stick with merino wool, or an alpaca merino blend i have both?

I like thr green one. Looks lacey and nice. I dont like tje orange one. What makes it so thick for fhe orange one. Is the woold thicker or the needle smaller or what is it that makes one look lacey and the other look like granny shawls.

Thank you! Making up a bunch for gifts. I'm using Caron Cinnamon Swirls cake yarn. Adding rows of white to finish it off. Kinda color blocking. The yarn cake is just over 400 yards, so needed more. Almost finished with my first one. Your tutorial was perfect!

I use a stacked treble crochet + 2 chains instead of a chain 6. I find it easier to do my final single crochet in the top of the stack instead of the 4th chain.
