Jimmy Page is the biggest Led Zeppelin fan in the world. He is immensely proud of his work, and the sheer effort it took to simply produce that music. But live, he will always be at his best. To see him in Japan, there to visit another man equally dedicated to his music is no real surprise; as others here have noted, Page's graciousness is as well -known as his produc- tion values. That he enjoyed the show so much, truly moved at this trip to his youth; that is the elixir that keeps him yearning to play. I know it's early Jimmy, But happy birthday! and thank you. PS When I learned Rain Song, I was ignorant of open tunings, so I learned in standard. ' s a bitch.

This might have been the closest thing Page got to experience Led Zeppelin live as an audience member, something he probably has wished many times, to see what it was all about.

I know the guitar parts from The Song Remains The Same concerts note for note and it's astounding how perfectly Mr. Jimmy plays them. It's an honour for both of them to be in each others company.

Just have to wonder what was going on in Jimmy's mind to see and hear somebody that looked like him, moved like him and played like him. Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery.

I absolutely love this video! I've watched it many times. Jimmy Sakurai is amazing! What a thrill it must have been for him to meet his hero. Jimmy Page was obviously very impressed.

I think Mr Jimmy has all the confidence in the world ,but this night he must have been nervous,feeling his hero watching his performance,but still did a great job.

This musician is keeping the Led Zeppelin experience ongoing for those individuals who were not able to see the band perform live. The live experience is another important aspect of the music along side the wonderful compositions preserved on record. Just like you would go see a performance of Chopin’s music by a professional pianist, Jimmy is doing the same for Led Zeppelin. And he’s doing it at the highest standard possible that his talent and work ethic will allow. You can’t ask for more than that.

I think I would freeze up if Jimmy Page sat down next to me.
