Katara is my favorite character, she's so strong and caring and compassionate. She takes care of everyone around her and even after she's been hurt so much she's still kind. Though she's a fucking force of nature when she's angry; one of the strongest benders in the show and by far the strongest waterbender of her generation.

The scene where Azula impersonates Zuko is often used for laughs, but in here, it feels more messed up and tragic. It shows how Azula views her brother - a failure to be ridiculed, which goes to show just how messed up these siblings' relationship is. It's cool how edits like these could help you view iconic scenes in a different ways you usually don't consider.

Darcy (i.e. J.O.) still pushed the boundaries of the rich-poor paradigm. I don't know if the dear companions-romantics are aware of how much Darcy had to break inside himself to trample the firm structure of the hierarchy by which he was raised, and that he will feel contempt and that it will reach even the king. its crazy how in 3 seasons everything changes, everyone's afraid of what happens when Aang has to fight the fire Lord. but we all know this, that Aang and his friends are strong and brave, if i was Katara i would be scared. and they all knew that not everyone would be able to live, but they fault anyway. i think that they are the bravest. Aang all of them could have died, but they were strong and they lived!!❤❤

i just realized that Zuko and sokka have the same problem, Zukos scared that his father isn't proud of him, and sokka has the same problem. but when Zuko and sokka become friends its like they are brothers!!!! and they tell each other everything!!

Azula's breakdown after being defeated always destroys me. I love what the writers decided to do with her. She's been this terrifying villain the entire show, and they absolutely could have had her defeat be a moment of triumph for Zuko and Katara, but instead they double down on the themes of the show. In the end, we're not afraid of Azula and we're not (or at least I'm not) happy for her defeat - we pity her. Makes me want to cry damn near every time.

"A girl with no friends and an empty heart." I... felt that. Fleabag is such a complex character, relatable in a very raw, human way. I truly believe Phoebe Waller-Bridge's work is something never seen before. A masterpiece, in my opinion. I take this show in my heart and I'll watch it over and over again and I'll never get tired of it...

He had one of the most impactful changes, from a hopeless warrior to a worthy general. He was the backbone of The team.

So I'm rewatching this show again and this is a question that comes up for me a lot. Do Azula and Zuko actually care about and love each other? My answer would be yes, on some level they do love each other. They're just incapable of coexisting. For them, everything has always been a competition. Zuko always wanted Ozai to acknowledge him while Azula always wanted to feel the warmth from Ursa that Zuko did. Whatever they feel in terms of warmth for each other _has_ to come from a place of nostalgia because they can't exist in the present without realizing how separate they are and resenting each other. Take the beach episode, for example. Azula knows that Zuko would be up by the house because it's the last place their family was happy. She wants to go back to that just as much as he does, she just can't admit it to herself. So she deflects by calling him pathetic for expressing emotions. And when Zuko finally beats Azula, she finally crumbles and releases all those pent-up emotions. He doesn't look down on her with joy, but with pity. And after that, he doesn't put her in prison with Ozai to live out the rest of her days. Instead, he sends her to a mental facility where she can get help and begin to heal. The difference between them is that Zuko had Ursa and Iroh to balance him out while Azula has always felt she had no one but Ozai.

Yessss, I love this so much! It's so fascinating to watch their character arcs travel in such different directions as the seasons progress. Zuko finds his inner strength and self acceptance along the way after learning how to let go of his self loathing, while Azula's pride and perfectionism (along with a healthy dose of mental illness) slowly brings about her downfall.
