I Sure miss this I did it for 10 years this was a great event for me I am still on IMUC's Website the only guy in the white recruit uniform. I was the last one up the Ladder and yelled last man and got rewarded with an explosion of Peat moss. Down my back :) What a great Hobby! Hazar! Thanks for Carrying on the Hobby. Mr. Kelly would be proud. p.s. I still have the IMUC backpack great to see it on the field in the video. Keep up the good work.

It's too bad there aren't more 1812 reenactors/ events. I just got into it, 3rd US Artillery. My ancestor was in it and fought at Niagara as well as several other battles.

What is the 6/8 tune you played that was paired with Drummond Castle? We know it as Tecumseh, from the Rumrille & Holton 1817 publication. Curious as to the title and source, as it's got a few variations in it.

FHG and the 78th Highlanders Halifax need to perform together 😭 soldiers AND the bands Their drill is so similar, I'm fairly certain they're using the same drill manual if not very nearly contemporary ones

My Dad died 11/11/23 and we had his funeral yesterday. He was fusiliers 24 years. And wore this uniform n red n white feather cap etc but I believe had white feather 1st. Sergeant Michael J Rodrigues. Rod

I am a retired officer in the Royal Canadian Engineers now living in San Francisco. I always choke up when I hear Wings. I trained at the RCSME in Camp Chilliwack, Chilliwack B.C.

The canada is the best of commonwealth realms because they still of british tradition and don't forget royal anthem ❤

Thanks for sharing. I attended the 81st Anniversary of the Landing of the Essex Scottish at Red Beach Dieppe in Windsor at the other end of #3 Highway. You cant be everywhere.
