Something similar happened to me last year. I worked at a local chuck e cheese for 11 months. I went on medical leave for 3 weeks for suicidal depression. When I came back I was only back 2 days. Over the weekend I got a call saying someone made 3 allegations against me. I cried and swore I didnt do it. I was suspended. I later put in my 2 weeks after getting advice from family. 4 days later I attempted suicide. I tried to call the corporate office and tell my side of the story but when I called it would go to voicemail. In december the former gm called me. I showed her facebook messages from an employee who accused me of sexual harassment. She said I sexually harassed a girl named abby and a girl named sierra. The gm said it was a lie and she talked to abby who she is friends with about it. Abby said I didnt do it. A 3rd manager named cindy said I didnt do it. I asked them if I sue will you testify and they said yes. I contacted the corporate office about a month ago and showed em all the evidence I had. I even had 11 people I know some most of my life call the corporate office and say I'm not that kind of person. 1 was my former gm at a previous job who I worked with for 4 years. The lady at corporate said he was unreliable because he worked for a different company in spite of the fact I worked with him for 4 years. Also the girl who accused me of this lost her virginity at 17 and got pregnant. I'm 31 and have never had sex with anyone. Also she was working at walmart at the time. Then 2 weeks ago I learned from the corporate office that the day after I lost my job someone from the local chuck e cheese emailed the corporate office pretending to be me and told a fake account of what happened. They are now investigating to see who sent the email. Then yesterday I opened the mailbox to get the mail. Inside was a letter with no envelope, no stamp, and no return address. It stated the following. "Dude you're going to get what's coming to you. You harassed sierra and abby and now you have the nerve to fight it. I'm already aware you murdered your mother and told everyone it was cancer. Well rember this. Karma's a bitch just like you." They spelled remember wrong. My mother died last year from cancer. Leukemia to be exact. Based on the fact there was no envelope, stamp, or return address that implied that someone from the local store drove by and put it in my mailbox. Which is a federal offense. I have never sexually harassed anyone. I respect women and I respect them too much to do what they accused me of. What makes really angry is they accused me of murdering my mom. They brought my family into it.

Bro this was one of your best. At my old job our customer base was police departments and as part of my training I had to do a ride-along. I know that feeling of riding fast through town and being in the worst neighborhood - although that favela was exponentially more dangerous than the hood where the crack house I was at in High Point, NC.

I witnessed alot of things that were similar to this when I was doing mission work in/near San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa in Honduras. More in San Pedro. As an American who most of his life grew up in a medium size city near the great lakes, it was at first, surreal to see police foot patrol officers with MP5s, etc, slung across their chest and hotel and neighborhood guards with 12 gauges at the ready if you pull in late at night from going out to the club with you girlfriend in Tela... You kinda got used to it, but you never got used to the poverty and strife of the people at the bottom rung of the developing world. So many of them see real money for the first time in their life in the forms of drug dealers... So they want to be like them because they have what they can only dream of. It's sad but it's the world we live in, but you and your actions can make it a better place.
