What a truck, but I am always looking to make improvements and I want to bring the center of gravity lower. Using car wheel balencing weights, did I succeed?

The metal skid plate supports are a good idea, I just broke mine in half including the front diff housing on its first run. I bought rpm arms thinking the stock ones would break but they survived 😅 do you know where the helion £2.50 skid plates are in stock? £17 is extortionate for a bit of plastic

Yes, they appear to be very strong now. I bought this truck 2 years ago when it first came out, so I wonder if they have strengthened the plastics. I was also new to bashing and used to launch it a lot.
Most people change the whole turbo. If your turbo is leaking which mines was causing smoke on start up or at lights ect you only need to buy the turbo core which now is only 200 for a really good one or 130 for a rebuilt core. 👍
Did the fan help your temp issues?
Yes, definitely, with a decent heat sink as well.

@@cds1223 I think it was about 30mm, just ordered a reasonably cheap one from eBay. I don't have the truck anymore so can't tell you the exact make or size.
Was this the valve stem oil seals? Or was there another issue?
It was the oil seal in the end.
What oil seal was it mate.
@@markthedrummerboy was it turbo seals or valve stem seals? Iv just started getting this but not as bad
Tbh, it was so long ago I can't really remember. I bought the car second hand from a garage and the engine was a wreck. The cam shalft rubbed against the side of the engine block and sent bits of metal through the turbo. 😔

Maybe should have got a 2s battery, might have saved the truck a bit.
I've had some luck finding new parts on ebay.
My vxr did this and my turbo went and had to get a new turbo and its not cheap
