Being obese is obviously not good for you, but man Asmon is the last person to talk about other people's unhealthy lives.

He is absolutely correct that morbidly obese people are more likely to die than lesser fat people, hence the word “morbidly”. However he is speaking from the mirror opposite of the fence, which doesn’t get spoken about enough of; drinking nothing but soda, not moving very much, not exercising, doesn’t eat much fruit or vegetables, don’t eat much at all unless it’s buttered steak takeout or candy and less than healthy personal hygiene. Doing all this, yet appearing to be skinny. I’m not saying that what he says is wrong, but it doesn’t mean what he’s doing is right.

I do think low income people should have some assistance should they truly need it but the thought of someone paying for me through taxes as I over indulge in food, give myself a heart attack, and recover and don't change my habits, feels like an awful feeling because I'm not putting forth effort to better myself
