Y&R Jack to Victor: Have a Seat! (2005)
February 4, 2005
Victor has been hired to replace Jack at Jabot, but Jack won't leave the company quietly. Victor wants Jack out of his office chair... He may want to order a new one.
Special thanks to Oakdalian for this clip.

Out of all the soaps and all the actors!! Jack was my favourite!! Had a huge crush on him back in the day and still do!! LOL!! Such a handsome man!!
Classic 😂
itis a reason why peter bergman is the most nominated actor in y and r's history
One of my favorite scenes
That Wind Blowing On Victor, Though, (LMFAOL)! 😆
Classic scene!
That Jack. Good one.
So Jack is willing to kill someone on the street by throwing a chair out of a skyscraper to prove a point. How stupid of writing.
I love this scene one of my repeat favorites. 😂
These two were the best back in the day the writing and the actors were brilliant! Then came along Billy Miller I loved watching Victor and Billy scenes they were brilliant! Y&R has lost their way. 😢
1:45 Doesn't he give a damn that chair could've landed on somebody down below, creating another lawsuit?
I think these guys had a fist fight their very first scene together or so the story goes
“Have a seat, on me!”
Talk about a whole new level of victor getting what he wanted, but not how he wanted it 😅😅😅
I felt like doing that with my chair after my boss fired me years ago
Victor Newman is the man. I have high respect for him.
Victor Newman And Jacj Abbott A Bitter Fued And Rivalry That Will Never End!
"You like this chair? You want this chair?"
Wonder if the chair fell on someone ?

With all the ppl walking past the building way down there on the ground, Jack seriously could have killed someone and up on manslaughter charges. Despite the fictional aspect, I can imagine a falling object the size of a chair has a GOOD CHANCE of hitting someone. Jack took a HUGE risk ☯️
The only time I saw Jack intimidate Victor
Peter has always played Jack as a pathetic whining baby, Terry Lester played him as an evil bastard
Jack I want the chair with you in it❤ We'll get rid of Victor
I remember this episode when after Jack threw that chair out he said to victor u want this chair have this on me always had me dying laughing this is classic right here for all the ages we miss the rivalry lol
if Victor had tell me to get out of my own inc and his wants my office chair ,i when had out now for 2 when his not get it and 2 his be helping out not took over ,
Cliffhanger deluxe! Meanwhile, in today's news, an innocent bystander on the sidewalk was tragically crushed to death by a falling chair. Law enforcement officers are still trying to determine where it originated from. 😂
Award-winning performance by everyone.
Iconic scene!
The original chair girl lol
watching this with grandma coming up, the music, these two, shit hit completely different lol
That was definitely a drop the 🎤 scene back then!😁 For me… it still is. One of the best scenes ever between these two career long rivals! 💯🤩😍❤️
Victor is ruthless , treacherous but he gets the job dune❤
Hilarious
Makes me want to see the next episode
That was hilarious!
Wow 2005 WAS "THAT" LONG AGO?
I remember this episode....😅😅😅
This is one of my favorite scenes since I started watching in 1978 as a small child
How far this show has fallen
After this, Nikki comes in later and is like "what the hell Jack? You could have killed somebody walking down the street!"
Jack: Ahhhh they would e been fine 😅
Have a seat Vic Old Boy.
Love this, wish I had the money to start a classic soap opera channel, I would have the classic episodes sometime in the morning, and the newest episode at night, along with a bunch of other soaps like Guiding Light, As The World Turns, Capitol, Bold And The Beautiful (also classic in the morning and new episode at night), Edge Of Night ,probably from 79 to the end Search For Tomorrow (whatever episodes I could get), Another World, Days (classic in the morning, and newest episode at night), , Generations, Santa Barbara, Sunset Beach, Passions, Knots Landing, Dallas, Dynsaty, Falcon Crest, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place,
Many soaps prior to the mid-70s were done live, very few episodes exist; one example was the November 22, 1963 As the World Turns episode, which was airing before Walter Cronkite interrupted to announce JFK's death, which can be found at the Paley Media Center, and on a few YT sites. That show became the last scheduled program for the next 4 days. And when soaps were taped, networks used to reuse tape, a process called wiping to save money. That practice stopped by the mid to late 70s. So I imagine soaps from the mid 70s onwards are available.
@@tammylewis2408 Even if I could start from 1980 that still would be awesome.

That intense rivalry between them has mellowed considerably. I think aging has brought that about. They are both still formidable in their own ways, however Victor has always been much more of a narcissist in his approach to EVERYTHING both in business and in his personal life. This intolerable hate he has for Sally and trying to sabotage her is really beginning to get tiresome. I think all that may change when he learns about her pregnancy. Jack and Diane living a "happily ever after after" scenario is a bit far fetched. But we'll see...
And you know the lady’s that watched this for the first time they couldn’t believe what they just seen hahahahahaha
I will NEVER forget this scene
Fool loves throwing chair through windows
Jack probably killed someone below
The suspenseful music that always plays 😂 0:18 🤣
Hahaha victor with a chair ..now sit down and enjoy the view 😂😂😂 🎉🎉🎉
