It also begs the question - could life dependent on oxygen ...

Great conversation. Always enjoyed Tims wisdom, and good questions from Antoinette. The point about Australia not sliding further toward extremism like America, and the terrible things happening around the world is really important. We're so extremely lucky in Australia, I hope that luck never runs out. That we have people like you both gives me some hope, but more people should be listening to you. A thought for Tim, often those best suited to power are those who do not seek it...

malcom seems to forget that every politician blatently lies. imo most of trumps lies have always been made to deliberately make the media jump and down, and thus exposing their own double standards. look at the reason trump won in 2016. it wasn't anything to do with trump and his alibilty, as trump said, he could do anything and still get elected, and that is because most voters had realised just how corrupt the clinton clan is. there was a book that came out, unfortunately around the same time as the US instigated the coup against the pro russian, but DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED ukrainian president. so it got little attention. the book was called clinton cash, and it exposes a lot. btw malcom could have a slight conflict of interest when it comes to putin, because as was exposed in the panama papers he was a director in a company that invested in a siberian gold mine. the local official was known for taking bribes, and in the panama papers, there is a suggestion of a ten million dollar bribe made for the mining permit. and malcom made 3 million by selling shares. he apperently 'didn't know about the 3 mill, if you can believe that. the man who paid the bribe is dead, conveniently. anway, when putin first came to powewr he started cleaning up corruption in russia, which was everywhere at the time. he has been slowly getting rid of corrupt officials ever since, and the official that gave out the permit for malcom's mine was one of the first to go. so, malcom couldn't have been too happy about that. austrtalia is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet, it is just that the corruption is hidden better, and there are a lot of things legal here, that aren't in other countries, which would be labelled as corrupt elsewhere. www.smh.com.au/business/panama-papers-things-not-quite-kosher-at-malcolm-turnbulls-siberian-gold-mine-20160614-gpim15.html

I think Mr. Turnbull is one of the fairest prime ministers of Australia. Unfortunately he wasn’t given the opportunity to implement his economic and social policies. We can apprehend more of his criticism of Netanyahu when he spoke about Netanyhu’s right wing extremist government and said it clearly that ministers like Semotrich and Bengvir are calling openly for ethnic cleansing which is a war crime. And this obviously means that the leader of this government is a war criminal. We can understand why he wanted us to read what’s between the lines.

Malcolms position in saying Israel is a chaotic democracy may sound bad but considering Israel exists on 0.02% of land in M.E while Arab League states rule the other 99.98% yet with all that land and oil wealth cant make peace with each other. Palestinian issue could be solved if Arab League recinded their 1959 Resolution banning the granting citizenship to any Arab of Palestinian origin.

This interview confirms Turnbull has a lightweight middle of the road mind, bordering on pathetic when it relates to international affairs. His views on democracy are pop, with some areas of substance. No mention of the massive lobby-operated political system. Certainly he has a complete ethical bypass on Western imperialism and Zionism. He refuses to categorise Netanyahu as a war criminal, says the conflict is “a problem” despite categorising Israel’s activity as “terrorism”. He categorises the Iraq war as “a huge mistake”. “Mistake”! Being kind, in these areas he is a lightweight, still with greater weight than up 99% of Australian existing or ex-politicians. Can’t go past mentioning his ego, which operated in his catastrophic support for kneecapping Australia’s internet infrastructure. Despite these criticism I would much prefer to hear Turnbull than 90% of his peers on any side of Australian politics. Kudos to him for his positions on climate change and Australia's most toxic export, Rupert Murdoch and now his son Lachlan.
