U can skip illustrator by using a veroni fracture with a matrix as the fracture source 🎉
Hey there. Thanks for your comment. You're right. I didn't know that when I was creating this short tutorial. Anyway, it's a great method to use Illustrator when your main shape pieces need to have a more custom shape.
Thanks u tutorial is so great!!
It's great to hear that this short tutorial was helpful for you. Keep learning!
Thank you SO MUCH!! I had a pair of tires I couldn't split and this worked PERFECTLY! Much appreciated! Subbed!

Bro you're a legend
Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it.
whats the tool name? as its not visable in video
Thank you for your question. If your selection has a perfect square shape, you can use the Smooth Edges tool. Otherwise, if your selection is not a perfect square shape and you still want to result in a perfect circle, you have to use the Fir Circle tool. Both tools can be found in the context menu by selecting polygons in polygon selection mode and right-clicking with the mouse.
how brilliant layout!!! ... nice tutorial :b
Thank you for your time. It was very painful to adjust the screen capture to 9:16 resolution. Even harder was to record the process seamlessly. If you leave a comment it means I didn’t waste my time 👍
wow cool
i'm glad it was useful!
please show us another process, it's very usefull. thank you :)
Thanks for your comment. I'm currently working on another complex animation project. The process will be divided into at least three shorts, each with behind-the-scenes explanations and the best practices I've used. Stay tuned!
thank you, i'm motion artist too btw. can you give me some tips how to get client?@@null_design

Nice
Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it!
Any blended properties work in this. It’s cool. Zach Corazines talk at Macon shows some fun uses for it.
It's definitely a great feature, but sadly, it's hidden too deep to be obvious to use. I hope in the future Cinema 4D versions it will become as an separate independent feature.
I’m thinking about buying an Asus Rog for vfx so this the video a was looking for thanks
From what I've seen so far on the internet, it's the best and coolest 4090 out there with top-notch hardware components. I have only one recommendation: turn on the Fan Speed Target to the Manual value of 30-40 in GeForce Experience by default (you can increase its value or switch to Automatic if running heavy tasks). By default, the fans of this GPU don't spin at all until it reaches a certain temperature. This can occasionally cause system driver crashes due to overheating of some GPU components. I experienced that problem as well, but after setting the Fan Speed Target to manual for a few months, I haven't experienced any crashes. Additionally, I bought an additional 120mm fan and placed it on the backplate of the card to outtake the hot air and improve ventilation even further. I hope this will help you deal with any potential issues that may arise. All the best with your new GPU and VFX!
@@null_design Yeah i been using mac for the last 10 years or more but whith the m1 chip and only 16 gb of ram i think it’s time to go back to windows, inlove all the features in this machine and all the power i’m gonna get i don’t think i gonna miss mac at all thank you for the advice
@@djmisteralexxx I also have an old MacBook Pro from 2017, and I'm considering purchasing the Mac Mini M2 because I appreciate the aesthetics of MacOS. However, for any demanding heavy-lifting tasks, I would only choose Windows machine with a modern GPU. I should also mention that if you're planning to use DDR5 for your system, it's advisable to buy 2x32GB modules, as using 4x32GB modules can lead to significant compatibility issues. At the moment, DDR5 is still relatively new, and its reliability may not be fully established.
@@null_design i find the 3090 to be more aesthetically pleasing, however the 4090 is of course better. My Gigabyte 2060 super (8gb white edition, quite rare) has the same start buffer with very short pathing but it gets slower the finer the detail.
@@kingghidorah8106 Thank you for your comment. I don't have experience with lower-generation GPUs, so I have nothing to compare with directly. I've been using a MacBook Pro 2017 for a few years at work. However, due to my aspiration to work on 3D projects, I recently had the opportunity to build my dream PC about six months ago. The current 4090 GPU is incredibly powerful, but when it comes to rendering, the need for speed is always there. There can never be enough power! I'm eagerly waiting for the 5090 =)
Great tutorial thank you !! Also nice to put the software in the 9/16 format :)!
Thanks for your comment. It was probably the most complicated part due to the space limitations.
I want open it like it is in photo how?
In the viewport next to hamburger menu you can find a menu button which contains all available cameras with this assets. By clicking on different cameras you will be able to change the scene locations. Hope it helps.
It's good but it destroys your UVs and you lose the material already applied...
Thanks for your comment. Without a doubt, UVs will be affected by the new mesh polygon configuration. UV mapping for a model with a lot of triangles and ngons, and without the flexibility of loop cuts, can be challenging. Proper topology is essential for achieving quick and efficient UV mapping, resulting in a win-win situation. It will impact the material if it relies on UVs, but if it's only a color channel with some noise applied, it will still be usable and remain intact for the remeshed object.
@@null_design Actually I was looking for some tutorial how to remesh 3D scanned geometry (triangles) and remesh it to quads but whatever I have tried it messed up the textures. Also I searched for some possibility to manually adjust the geometry while preserving the textures but couldn't find anything to solve this problem...
@@1SubZeero remeshing is changing the structure therefore the old texture will not fit because it's a new mesh and a UV is broken. Probably there are some methods of texture reprojecting available out there but for sure they will not work 100% accurate with the regenerated mesh.
@@null_design Recently I got 3D photogrametry scan with messy triangle mesh. C4D remesher works well but the texture was patched in a strange way. Unwrapping also didn't work. Hard to find tutorials for this...
@@1SubZeero After remeshing the old texture and UV will not work anymore. I think the new UV unwrapping and texturing the only one way to make it work.
Great job!👆

Hey, can you tell me what style this design is? So I can search for practice
Hey there! I'm not sure if there is any official name available for that style. I named it "Creative Building Blocks" but it will not help you a lot with your search for practice =)

I was looking for the part where u make that plastic look for this ( at all ) it would be great video
Hey Mario! Thanks for your comment. This video was recorded a few months ago and I'm not sure that the 3D version of this illustration was a thing ) For the plastic look workflow please check out my other videos of abstract shapes creation.
@@null_design I did but I didnt found what Im lookin for. So ma question is. You dont do plastic design look in illustrator but you import every flat design into 3D software and make the look of plasticity ?
@@mariomotosicky You are 100% correct. I don't use Illustrator to make it realistic. I import .ai file into Cinema 4D and adding the third dimension to all flat shapes. After that I create a plastic material with diffuse, reflection, and bump channels and apply it to all shapes and change the diffuse channel (color) if needed.
Infographic Paradise okey now I got it thank you for your answers. Appreciate it. I would like to see this type of video. You know just that type of look what you got on the Instagram for the flat designs. It’s still flat but it’s 3D 😂 kind a great. We can see this design in new apple devices with macOS Big Sur
