Here is a nice example of another one of my Humvees. This is an M1123A2. This truck was originally a 2 man hard top FRAG 5 truck, but has since been decommissioned into a simple basic 4 man truck. It is in excellent condition with 11,000 original miles.

My all time favorite place to metal detect is here at Fort Ord Monterey Bay. This is the soldier pass-through that goes under the highway to the firing ranges and the beach. Since 1940, over a million troops have passed through this tunnel prior to 1994 when the base was closed. I have found all sorts of unusual items; mostly munitions (spent) and some odd coins, and a lot of Army memorabilia. ...

Our Peahen Schmeckl had baby chicks. There were 5 eggs, and 4 hatched, and so far they are doing great on day 2 of their existance. I have enclosed them in their own pen with food and water to hopefully keep out the night time ground predators such as possom and the dreaded Racoons we have around here.

Here is a rental house we have that was producing one rent. Now it is capable of producing two rents. Or you can say it was a 2bd 1 bath, but now we are 3 bedroom and 2 bath.. The single car garage was 230 square feet. Total conversion was a leisurely 30 day project. I had help with one other guy, my friend Raphael!

This moron broke into one of my sea-train shipping containers, and managed to find a Glock 26 I had hiding in there. But the good folks at Madera Police Department and I were able to come up with a wonderful scheme to lure and trap this dumb ass into meeting his destiny with his brothers in prison.

That cant be a true ECV model and rebuilt in 1997. Looks like a 2006 ECV since you have the turbo, ecv hood and rear ac quarter vents. Nice truck, but something is odd with the rebuild tags.
You are right, it is a build on a 1990 M998. Here in California we are forced to "build" an ECV out of an old title that was obtained before the 2018 title ban moratorium.. Thx for watching and good eye.
Just needs another intake manifold with updated flap. Run good as new. Oh no, wait; take the engine out and replace the balance shaft/sprocket and relative parts and then it will run good as new. If nothing else was effed up. 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

I've read the description, so if the #2 intake valve was bent, was it not an option to fix the cylinder head/valve? I guess more damage was there right, piston, wall etc?

Without the California plate and title: $25k. With the CA title and plate is of course going to be more. However, I do have a SF-97 Government title for this unit; it can be used to obtain title in other states. This unit sells overseas for $30k+ so I tend to lean towards exporting these. Yes, I have the same problem to solve on my MB W211 2007. I am mad about this, ´cause it has the LPG system installation 2 month old. And now it is about to remove it all out!!! I am very angry to the Mercedes engeneers. Why not make it piece of sh*t from the aluminium???

I also completely agree, it is very obvious it was not design with metal parts and bearings, therefore designed to fails, giving us problems. Stupid design for sure, considering constant heat from the engine, needs to be advertised on News channels about the design failure for this model ( and probably others ). Thanks for sharing !

Sure, off of Hwy 1 you take Imjen Parkway and then you take a right on 2nd Ave- that is right where the shopping mall is. Then you go down 2nd ave about 3/4 of a mile, then take a right at Diverty Dr. There will be a road that dead ends at the Hwy 1 underpass-- look to your left right there- that will be where the old soldier pass through will be. Very nice. What brand of tires are you running on those rims? Still have the run flats?
It came with Goodyear MTR "E" tires and I do not like those; too stiff, so I have already switched to BF Goodrich Baja. I have had every Humvee tire, and I have found that the Baja is the best. They ride and track great. And no run flats, I always have balance probs with them, not to mention they weigh almost 30 lbs each. Thanks for watching.
@@bart672 Thets what i thought i saw but wasn't sure. Are they the same size as the original Goodyear tires? I can't wait to get better rubber and the run flats off. Problem is finding a place that'll do double beadlock tires. Lol
@@angrypatriot5392 Yes same size 37s and it is easy to split the wheels and mount the tires yourself using an impact gun.

This land faced the music with an ugly stick, CA and the locals ( in my opinion) didn't care, or just looked the other way after all Fort Ord' housed and served the community for many years, and yes was a port to a 1 way ticket to different fronts. I still remember our hosts training us about chemical attacks, and giving us the not too sweet arrival to the death's port( Fort Ord'). Thanks!

When the pcv/ccv system is cared for & these garbage manifolds are inspected & replaced asap, you'll never have anything to worry about. EARLY m272/273's have the balance shaft issue, remedied in early MY 2007 I believe? (There's a documented engine # cutoff). The only reason your engine could/would fail from this pos manifold is from neglecting the well known issue & having the cheap internals break off & make contact with valves. Are we SERIOUSLY going to ignore the fact that BMW literally has common issues across virtually every single chassis since the mid/late 90's that literally do not happen on ANY car anywhere, whatsoever? Don't get me wrong, I love BMW & have many on my dream list, but please be honest here. No Mercedes REQUIRES a full cooling system refresh at 70k mi & rod bearings aren't wear/tear items on them just to name about 2% of common BMW failures. 12 revisions for fuel injectors? Failed mosfets in DME's, like that's normal?! Come on dude. I literally haven't even touched the beginning of the surface of BMW failures everyone will have to deal with. All German cars after about 1995 are pure shit. Still love them, but about 90% of them are shit. Put against each other as far as documented, common failures go & general life expectancy, BMW makes Benz look like Toyota. Literally every pro who has decades of experience working on both will confirm that statement 100% of the time. (I'm not 1 btw, but the evidence is out there.)

Surprisingly you didn't get a DTC for rich condition on that one bank, they usually set the code right away. You can get a complete intake manifold on Amazon for a little over 200 bucks, with gaskets.they work great.
