How I Completed the Absolutely INSANE Gen 3 Pokedex - Part 1
The third generation of Pokemon games presented us with the original "dexit" that took an entire generation to fix. Each game gradually brought back pokemon until you could finally complete the Pokedex.
I decided to take on this seemingly impossible challenge, but I wanted to see just how far I could go with my original copy of Pokemon Sapphire first.

I'm almost at 110 Pokémon now. Beat the Elite 4. Have all Legendarys. Now I'm juat getting what I can on an emulator

I caught it with full health bar with only ultra ball.
Respect for that, even with an ultra ball that's super lucky at full hp 👀

I found the blue one randomly yesterday in the desert n it escaped instantly so i wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt show up again
If it escaped it will definitely show up again! It's only if it faints it won't come back
very, VERY fun fact. if you saw it, it’s in your pokedex! and the pokedex has a feature where you can see the location of pokemon, so boom! you know where it is! (you still gotta be lucky to be on the same route, though, but at least y’know if it is.)

The grind is real with gen 3 man, I have been busy myself for years now. Admittetly I am doing a living dex overkill with very special pokemon, but still, it's a grind even without that. I used the reporter and cameraman to level up my pokemon and gym leader rematches. Yesterday I got Milotic by using Pamtre berries and now I'm in a rabbit hole to find the best possible contest stats with a single game. It is possible to get berries from the Gamecube games and I have a Leichi berry, but I'm not sure yet which ones too use and who to blend with. (Dead battery, no berry master sadly) Anyhow good luck on your journey! I hope it brings you lots of joy ^^

I did something similar today. Since I already this this on Ruby I had to resort to Emerald when I remembered you can clone items in that game. So I cloned a lot of pamtre berries and made 4 indigo blocks and 1 gold block to evolve Feebas. I’m considering making more blocks to see how far I can bump up the stats of this Milotic now. (Normally I am against cheating/glitching, but it is the only way of getting multiple berries with a dried out battery)
I personally think as long as it's a method that's available in game, even if it is a glitch that is perfectly fine. Only thing I'd make an exception for is event exclusives as they're just completely unavailable, so anything goes in that case.

If you use the Acro bike to hop in place you’ll be able to search without wasting repels, only need to walk in the building and out again to the grass

It wasn't really a struggle I just find them annoying, especially in the gym. Played through plenty of times just dread it a little each time 😂

Probably, but you could always stack the team with pokemon that have similar abilities 😁

I have a lvl 38 trapinch with arena trap and Latios just runs every time regardless so idk🤷♂️
@@killamane_977it don’t work with arena trap because of levitate, you need shadow tag.

Wynaut is the only baby pokemon to be found in the wild but only on the mirage island whoch is so rare to get to that ive never been to it personally.
Same, I spent many months hoping to find it when I played the game as a kid. Now my cartridge has a dead battery so I'll never find it unless I change the battery 😅
