Maybe it's a huge damage for one hit but it's not that fast in terms of the speed of taking down the opponent. I have a Vette with 3 grade gimballed large beam lasers on the top with overheating effect and the rest are 3 grade multi-cannons with some corrosion effects and can take down similar enemies just as fast or even faster than a single high-damage weapon. The constant damage from the multi-cannons and beams is more effective than the one-shot damage from the beam lasers, as I don't need to precisely follow the enemy to land my shots and eventually miss sometimes. The damage per second is way more effective that one shot damage. I'm now on my way to Colonia (around 300 jumps left) to upgrade my beams to 5 grade so it will be even more powerful

Objection: With more advanced flying Skills you should rarely ever see enemies from behind or from their front face tanking as you keep adjusting your flight vector with your thrusters to strafe/circle the enemies. Even more so flying with Flight Assist off were size of your ship matters much less in terms of maneuverability as you let do physics do the work. Size of your ship mostly matters in terms of the hitbox you provide to any given enemy, the bigger the easier to hit. And NPCs cheat anyway. Flight AI is so broken I am currently training my Flight Skills to the max to avoid the fucking Jousting and Headtanking NPCs like to engage. Gimballed Weapons also suck because too many NPCs Spam Bitch Glitter (Chaffs) and I just can't be assed anymore to keep unlocking my target, especially with the small af Radar where you easily lose your mark, especially in Combat Zones with Red Dots all over the place. Size of your ship is also one of the reasons btw why many players fly shieldless as hull tanks, the Shield increases the surface area of your ship even further, making it easier to get hit - and when it comes down to Thargoids you radiate too much heat as well.

I have a folder of clips proving the hit detection is completely fucked LMAO. Some things that are super weird: cs2 deathmatch servers feel the best out of every server, cs2 premier servers are bad, faceit servers are actually worse!
