Iona has featured in several publications including Vogue, The Wall Street Journal and The Times. Kenmure, written by Iona Fyfe and Max Thomson. An adaption of Woody Guthrie and Martin Hoffman's Deportee Plane Crash at Los Gatos. Love from Aberdeen ❤❤
Amazing! Full of emotion and representative of scottish culture!
My granddad’s favorite song, hailing from the Kingdom of Fife. Makes me really wish I could sing with him again. 🏴
Great version, band are sounding spot on and Iona your just amazing.
Superb. Brings a tear to the eye of even an Invernessian. But, of course, I heard my father sing it hundreds of times. He been a Black Watch officer attached to the Gordon Highlanders in Palestine in the mid-1940s so one can well imagine that, "God speed the day when I'm on my way, To my home in Aberdeen," would have had even deeper meaning there than at Pittodrie. 🤔
Kinda wish fans were singing along at first chorus
Bravo!
Thanks gal..make a Michelle Mone vid please.
This makes me want to learn Scots bc I have a lot of Scottish heritage and it sounds so similar to English so I don’t think it would be the most difficult language to learn
Such a beautiful rendition!
You go Girl
Yasss
Beautiful, thank you. 👍🏴👍
Beautiful version love this song to think its over 71years young and will always be loved. Beautiful Voice angelic. Greetings from Australia. a Scottish friend always sang this at our parties (God rest him he's passed away) such a proud Scot. Wore his kilt often to our parties, I can still see him standing proud singing this song in the middle of the room..God Bless you Isaac.
Fa's Taylor Swift, great performance, versatile as always Fiona, break a leg in Aberdeen tonight.
Fantastic !
It's nice to hear vocals rather the band drowning the vocals out ❤
Thank You-beautiful performance.
Beautiful voice 😍
Excellent performance.
Love this ❤
Mince. What is this crap doing on my feed ...
Really good performance, thanks for this.

Maybe its just cos I'm from the south, but I can't help but hear "simmer air" as "simmer Ayr" <3
Brilliant!
Beautiful, thank you!!!!
As with Irish culture, it's vital for Scots to tie trad heritage to modern influences: it underlines the vitality of Scots Language in modern society
Sadly I missed the premiere but I watched it afterwards. This is worth replaying! Good work and well done Ms Fyfe!
Wonderful, thank you. 👍❤👍
👋😃👍
Braw 👍
Beautiful, beautiful song. I visited Den of Finella last year and it is a beautiful, haunting place. A nice place to spend eternity...
This song is by Tom Petty, Phoebe Bridgers version was a cover, too. I feel like you would do a great cover of his song "Wildflowers", as well.
Us Scottish voters had the bigger vote to stay in the European union but because the rest of the UK voted to be out and we basically got kicked out
Thank you Iona what a lovely performance you have done us Dons fans proud ❤️
Came for a piano solo version, stayed for this wonderful piano & singing interpretation!
Beautiful voice lovely
Hello. Sorry, but he really annoyed me by saying Britain and British all the time. Hopefully Independence comes soon and we can get better. All the best... :)
Imagine having that sung in your living room!
Is there for honest poverty That hings his head, an a’ that? The coward slave, we pass him by - We dare be poor for a’ that! For a’ that, an a’ that, Our toils obscure, an a’ that, The rank is but the guinea’s stamp, The man’s the gowd for a’ that. What though on hamely fare we dine, Wear hoddin grey, an a’ that? Gie fools their silks, and knaves their wine - A man’s a man for a’ that. For a’ that, an a’ that, Their tinsel show, an a’ that, The honest man, tho e’er sae poor, Is king o’ men for a’ that. Ye see yon birkie ca’d ‘a lord,’ Wha struts, an stares, an a’ that? Tho hundreds worship at his word, He’s but a cuif for a’ that. For a’ that, an a’ that, His ribband, star, an a’ that, The man o’ independent mind, He looks an laughs at a’ that. A prince can mak a belted knight, A marquis, duke, an a’ that! But an honest man’s aboon his might - Guid faith, he mauna fa’ that! For a’ that, an a’ that, Their dignities, an a’ that, The pith o’ sense an pride o’ worth, Are higher rank than a’ that. Then let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a’ that), That Sense and Worth o’er a’ the earth, Shall bear the gree an a’ that. For a’ that, an a’ that, It’s coming yet for a’ that, That man to man, the world, o’er, Shall brithers be for a’ that.
Typical luvvie "Please change the rules because I'm better and more artistic than people with a proper job" Most people I know are working in two jobs to make ends meet so stop whining and man up you arrogant bint
Great treatment of Violet Jacob's poem .
absolutely great performance ,thanks.
My grandfather’s favorite song as a child. He taught me Scots and Gaelic - my dream is to buy his childhood home. One day.
Isn't this just one of Bill Bailey's jokes?
That's so beautiful 🧡
