@@mylesstreeton48 it’s difficult to say as I only use the hydropower occasionally. But personally if the ppm is around 100-150 from the tap, and I use Tulsions I can get 8 to 10 big house jobs done before the ppm hits 5 on monitor.

@The4x4WindowCleaner I charge by the job, not how long it takes mate & what I might do in 1hr, someone less equipped or less experienced might do in 2hrs, but we'd charge the same cos it's still the same job. No disrespect intended at all mate, I just think that's wasting a whole lot of time to get the exact same result I'd get in 1/4 the time.. 🤔

Hey @@brandonevans174 the data sheet describes it as “alkaline cleaner and degreaser” which is “concentrated”. Sorry it can’t be found in US, but you should find an alternative cleaner/degreaser brand.

No problem, so the Yakima TopGrips act like a handcuff that “lock” down as you push the clamp. There’s also a padded cradle for extra grip. This is secure enough for transporting poles. The actual key locks would be used to prevent gear theft. Hope this helps! Thanks

Appreciate your comment mate! You definitely get that “here goes nothing” moment when drilling, even after all the preliminary research and checks. Before buying this snorkel, I did carefully compare all parts to the Safari model, and the only difference I could see was the branding. Same ram head/water separator and exactly same connective pipes. As mentioned in video, essentially the same but a lot cheaper.

That’s how I got going with wfp 👍 I’d recommend ordering degreasers from a professional cleaning suppliers. In the UK I mostly use UBIK 2000, but any decent degreasing chemical will do. I’ll occasionally use a diluted dish soap. Also CLR remover is a must for hard water stains(charge more for that kind of situation) All the best @sueb8678 🫡

Hi @@sueb8678 yellowing upvc can be uv/sunlight damage that effects that top layer, so difficulty to improve. Id only recommend using Stardrops The Pink Stuff paste or Unger Rub Out remover, these will also work with stubborn dirt. Don’t be tempted to use anything stronger. I had a customer once who put bleach on white frames and it didn’t end well!! I’ve also seen a lot of upvc sanded to remover stains, but wreaks the top finish layer!! Hope this helps 🫡

Thanks for your comment Jon! I can definitely say there’s been a few mpg gained since the install. The tests also show a snorkel will improve engine induction/breathing so should reduce fuel consumption.

For chemicals on glass and framework I mostly use Ubik 2000, Viro-sol, and a CLR for water stains etc 👍

@@Damster587 Sure thing, I control water using the uni-valve by Exceed Innovation, they’re based in UK but I believe can be shipped. The valve controller will fit inside the majority of WFP’s. The pole I’m using is by Gardiner Pole Systems another UK company. Much thanks for your Sub 🙂
