In whichever modifications you do make sure you dont change the name of the ArchiCAD file..........just open both the lumion file and ArchiCAD file and click on Live sync in your ArchiCAD toolbar. Let me know if this answer is of help to you.

Noted this issue will be worked on.....in the next videos.

The first step is to download a PNG seamless texture from Google. Then follow the procedure of adding the downloaded texture into your ArchiCAD. OPTIONS>ELEMENT ATTRIBUTES>SURFACES>NEW>Rename the texture>OK>TEXTURE>BROWSE>ADD>OK.

Have not seen that option in ArchiCAD yet, but you can improvise....using the polygon tool... Let me do more research and update you on how it can be done with ease.

On the Navigation toolbar, look for SCHEDULES>ELEMENTS>WALL SCHEDULES..... That's where you will find the perimeter of the walls used.

Any project done using a newer version of ArchiCAD e.g. 27, 26,25 can not be opened directly using a lower/old ArchiCAD version e.g. 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17... .. The only option is to downgrade from one version to another till when you reach the version you want. But the only challenge is that you must have all the ArchiCAD version to downgrade because you keep opening and saving the file.. Till when you reach your desired version.

Those are random images I downloaded to improve my project graphics... But make sure you download png images with a transparent background.

Just select all lines, polygons and circles and and give them a white line color.

When you select the drawing while it on a layout, you can adjust the scale....from the task bar or you right click and change the scale

Thank for your comment #Varia. About the issue of layers, by default all objects fall under the layer of "interior furniture". Select your project elements one at a time and check at the tool bar yo identify the layers in which belong. From there you can also change the layers of your project elements depending on how you want them.

@@LAJCADForum Thank you very much, that helped a lot. clearly have never learned how the layers work. another thing I tried was I created the curved 3D text on a (new) separate file and then saving it as an object.gsm file. later uploaded it to the library manager on the plans I'm working on. that worked too... the process was lengthy but got it done. Your way is definitely faster. Thank you once again.
