Saw The Cult live in Lisbon in... I think it was '93, a guy was shooting up next to me, Ian saw it, asked if he was shooting up and nodded disapprovingly, then another guy, or the same guy, don't remember, kept throwing big chunks of grass from the ground (it was a soccer stadium) at the band, Ian went down from the stage towards the guy, I couldn't see what happened next, I was a kid, but reports I heard afterwards said Ian bit the guys' ear (!) The grass throwing stopped. The Cult rocked on until today.

Not an "Outburst" - RATM did this every show. Think they did it with multiple songs but the best was Wakeup. Gives me the chills Hearing all the music come back together at the end of the rant/speech with Zack screaming WAKKKE UPPP WAKE UPP. Badass

Funny- a tall dude pushed his way in front of me at a Cult show in ‘98 at The Web Theatre in Phoenix and got aggressive when I called him out, as I’d stood for hours to claim a good spot. He shoved me so I punched him in the throat. He lost that battle 😂

I absolutely love The Cult! Fell in love with their rawness, stage presence and almost unbelievable talent the first time seeing and hearing The Cult when they opened for Aerosmith at The Palace in Detroit. Firewoman instantly made me a lifelong fan! Thank you for posting this and bringing back awesome memories. PS Brilliant idea posting live video of Bands you should know but I’d like to make a suggestion. The bands name and maybe the song title should be posted for each video. If I hadn’t already known who was onstage, truly don’t think I’d have ever been able to find out who the band was…more likely is that I wouldn’t have bothered trying to find out.
