Great video , I can really relate to it. I bought one of the first gsxr750’s in ‘85 here in Adelaide but everyone of the are just awesome. I can’t believe Suzuki stopped making them!! They still churn out dr’s ect but no one can get these machines! I’m 59 and would get one tomorrow if I could! Come on Suzuki these are legendary. Really enjoying your videos mate.

Why there even ever was a debate about rear breaks, it's a part of control systems of a motorcycle, it's not useless after thought. Just because people choose not to or don't know how to utilize it does not mean there needs to be a debate about it. Rear breaks are very useful in ALL possible kinds of raiding, there's nothing to debate. People should learn how to use them, it's part of motorcycle controls and addition to riders skill set . If they use them or not up to the rider but there's no reason to start debates based on preference or opinion, or worse yet "this guy is not using them" nonsense.

Looking great, shame it's the fugly front end one, the K8 & K9 was the last good looker, with the K6 & K7 being the best imo. Nonetheless, looks great now, and here's to many happy 1000s of miles 😎

Hey Michael. Nice bike, looks great. I’ve a sv650s which is fantastic. Could I ride it at Assen or Jerez or would I be too slow. If so, what would be a good choice as the next bike up in power? R1 perhaps, I’m 6ft 1in and hear R1’s are roomier. Thanks for the great videos.

I have the latest 2024 BMW S1000R & absolutely love it. However….. it doesnt compare in the simplicity & rawness of my mint condition 2010 Suzuki GSXR-750. The way you describe this bike is exactly how I feel about mine. I love it’s looks, ease of maintenance and the fact that its so so unadorned by electronics. There really is NOTHING like a Gixxer….Wonderful bike you have congratulations and that also makes me feel very lucky to have mine! Thanks for the video mate 👍

3000 miles on a dedicated track bike is like 60k on a street bike.

Good evening from Newfoundland, Just wondering your taughts on me thinking my k1300s is one of the best sport touring motorcycle made ? Got 60k on my new to me 09 and 25 yes riding unfortunately can't try all in the segment . I taught u might have options on my next purchase to maybe find my next best of in a few years . I believe buying them 5 or 7 years old are best and well kept with all options and low k's. Thanks chuck

Great video and great bike! I was just wondering that is it bad for the engine in a long run when cruising around lower city speeds with low RPM while using higher gear? Many times i notice myself going 30mph with 5th or even 6th gear on my busa. It's just more relaxing and not too twitchy when twisting the throttle abit. I have loud exhaust also so maybe im thinking people around me subconsciously too lol

I'm happy for you and gsxr, we have the same situation at the same time, I bought it relatively cheap, it was even similarly damaged, i finished mine 2 weeks ago and was blown away by how good the the whole unit actually is.. My last motorcycle was a 2007 r6 rj11, and I can say that this is a totally different world.. the gsxr 750 l2 blew me away.. my best bike so far..I wish you many happy kilometers on it and if you ever visit Croatia, feel free to contact about accommodation, routes, places to visit etc..best regards..

Seeing all those great Suzukis brought back some great memories and I ended up buying a 1985 GSXR 750 out the paddock. So super happy👍👍😊

Hi Neevsey, the feeling you have for your Gixer 750 is similar to me with my 2010 HRC Blade. At just under 5,8" it fits my like a glove! My first one I had from 2011 and I clocked up 23k miles with I.O.M, Nordschleife, Northern Ireland & umpteen trips up north (I live near Knockhill in Scotland). I was devastated when she developed crank issues and had to scrap her a couple of years ago! But I found an identical Blade in Luton with just 2900 miles from new, the previous owner had multiple bikes, so only clocked 100 to 200 miles per year from new, so this Blade is like new, small things like a gleaming original tool kit and general condition backs up the low mileage along with previous MOT's, Anyhoo enjoy Michael and thanks for all your brilliant content 👍
