This channel is a tribute to my favorite singer Lesley Gore.
Lesley Gore was born May 2nd 1946 as Lesley Sue Goldstein. Lesley was the first child of Ronny and Leo Gore. Her brother Michael was born in 1951.
On February 16th 2015 Lesley died on lungcancer at the New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City. Gore, who was a non-smoker, was 68.

Lesley wrote this song in 1980 with her brother Michael for the musical fame. Michael composed the music and Lesley wrote the lyrics. If I remember that right Lesley said once in an interview that she wrote the lyrics until one or days because it felt her so easy.
