There are no parts in the US unless you find someone selling them on Ebay.com. If you send a message to www.toucanhobby.com/ they will probably get you what you need.
Was the filter dirty or blocked because, I work on the big stuff. Oil gets changed when it needs to be changed. As with the filters but we test the oil if it comes back fine back in.
The filter didn't look dirty. However, if it was it would be a major undertaking to remove it and clean it. The whole hydraulic assembly would have to come out.
Time and time again the Chinese retailers claim they have quality products and everything is tested constantly. Yet, he is another example of poor quality and building. Glued a speaker onto a fan??

What battery are you using? and how long is the run time?
3S battery, it's size is about 136*43*29mm (5.35" x 1.69" x 1.41"). They last 25 minutes. I purchased four extra ones from Amazon so I don't have to wait for them to charge. Also, with the charger that came with the machine the charge time is close to 9 hours. I had one from Huina. I sold it because I never really used it. I probably would use one if I have a very big area to play in.
How has the machine been reliability wise? I want to buy one but keep hearing very mixed reviews some say do not buy some say I should have bought one yesterday. Opinion?
This has been a very reliable machine. I've had Huina and Double D Volvo excavators and they broke all the time. They also had much less power so I was always trying to modify them to dig better. The Kabolite K961 is very reliable. I've had it 9 months and it only had one or two minor issues.

I had 5 hours on it! I know a lot of oil tanks are dirty when they are manufactured and they don't get cleaned. I wanted to change the oil when I got it but the quick connect wasn't delivered until yesterday.

It's 1/10 scale that machine. Kaboilte never get there scale to actual scale mate 😂. It would tower over a Tamiya truck id never buy there crap

isnt the 114 scale bigger than 118 scale

1:14 is bigger than 1:18. The 1:18 works better in the sandbox on my porch.

Yes, I started with 1:14 scale Huina excavators. They are not as powerful, but they are less expensive for you to figure out if this is a hobby you want to stick with.
what scale rc do you prefer in this type of rc
I like the 1:18 or 1:16 size of the Kabolite.
what scale do you have in rc what scale are these
The most common is 1:14 scale. If you get bigger than that they start to weigh over 100 pounds. My excavator is 1:18 scale and the loader is 1:14 scale. They each weigh 20 pounds.
Think I would have put some grease back in that gearbox though.

Glad you’ve got it sorted out. The k963 is my favorite. Hydraulics suck, I work on them in real life. And they suck even worse at a 1/16 scale 😂

Kabolite would sell more if they made them a little bit bigger, 1/14 scale. To match tamiya truck's.
I sometimes wish they had smaller ones. That way my indoor play area would be much bigger in scale.

Hey Jerome, I been watching your videos, I like to see these models do their thing. Your videos are to the point and I appreciate that. I would like to see the tracked load in action in the garden to see how it behaves with more compacted ground. I would like to hear / see more of your experience.
Hey Maikel thanks for watching. All of my digging at home is in the sandbox on my porch. However, I'm creating a spot outside at my girlfriends house and will record some videos near the end of the month.

what did you plug the blue hydraulics sounds wire into?
I connected it in line with the hydraulic pump on Ch5

I'm not sure. I've never seen the K966. I know the tracks on the K966 are bigger.
