#7 should be: as stacks go up, eq realization deviates more from eq because pvp/zero sum one guy overrealizes, one underrealizes
Cool content chewy! Your thought out, concise, straightforward approach is very systematic yet abstract enough. Keep doing videos!
I just accidentally stumbled across this and I like what I see. There are quite a few things which seem different from what others are offering. I really like the idea of video clips of actual hands. It would be great if you could get the actual players involved to do commentary on it or just have some professional do it. I like the idea of comparing ranges sides by side across various stack sizes. would be great if you could offer trials....
Mr. Lichtenberger, I need to speak with you-- the universe brought me to you. Ideally, we can speak in person one day, sooner than later. I can give you my email and/or phone number. I hope to hear from you. Have a great day! P.s. thank you for the insights
Can't teach feel... Or can you?
Obviously Im not playing with this caliber of players, but if my read of the reg population is that this line is almost never a bluff, and add to that the fact that as an ICM standpoint this bluff would be super risky for such low reward in Nick's shoes (adding 4.5bbs to your stack), isnt that a super easy fold for Jeremy?
What does Nick end up doing?
brand of glasses?
Warby Parker 🙂
I've decided already that no matter how well this guy creates content I won't send him my money. Ever.
Me too 😂
I dont think hes asking for money haha
Unlucky chewy
GUI looks amazing. Is this just another GTO library viewer or can we change preflop ranges/bet sizes..., and solve?
Thanks! Will be able to change preflop ranges & bet sizes within custom sims(or modified version of these) in the near future. First step was to get this up and running
Intuition is literally you running everything in your mind that you’ve learned but at lightning fast speed imo, I find whenever I go back and break down a hand from a logical standpoint i almost always end up agreeing with what my gut told me too. it’s almost like anything in life whether taking an exam, playing a sport, etc. practice the moves and concepts off the table, and after that just trust your gut once you’re on becuase overthinking never helps.
These lines from Alex are so gangster. After the check raise bluff on flop , then u get a dream turn to continue bluffing with some fold equity. I would never have thought of check raising turn. I would have bet smell turn and triple barrel river on most cards. If I was to check turn , would have been calling. Very interesting hand/ lines, thank you. Just earned a new sub 😊
Hi bro ! Ok I make one positive criticism suggestion for your channel . As a follower and someone who still needs a tonne of learning, would you be able to put a graphic of how deep yous are but also in big blinds. It's just how my mind can unfortunately only think when it comes to learning. Thanks !! Love the work ❤if I copy and paste this often , sorry for the spam 😂
Short answer, yes
Why would you snap call with two pair if there is a flush draw for the opponent
had he c bet the flop then bet 80-100% pot on the turn 5’s wouldn’t stay in there
bets nothing on the flop and only 55% on the turn
Stop acting like you know more than them lmao, everyone thinks they’re a pro when they can see the whole cards
why does he not double barrel to see his position he’s letting his oppnent see too many cards for free
It was a 5% chance he will almost always be fine 💀, besides I’m trusting one of the most successful poker players in the world on what to do here
15" POKER HAAAAARRRRDDD
Yo chewy. I remember listening to you chat with Aejones was awesome content great to see you hope youre doing well
really one of the questions that i have always in mind, thanks a lot for even thinking about it, and thank you for sharing this!
FIRST LET ME SAY I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU SHARING YOUR INSIGHTS ON THE GAME !! I DO NOT SEE A LOT OF VIDS YET ; BUT AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THEM !! THIS VIDEO HAS SHOWN ME A METHOD TO HELP WITH MAKING DECISIONS AND THE WAY TO HELP PRIORITIZE THOSE DECISIONS !!! THANK YOU !! THIS WAS A GREAT VIDEO AND I THINK YOU HAVE A GREAT TEACHING STYLE !!
USUALLY I GO AGAINST MY GUT-- FEELING/KNOWING I AM BEAT BUT CONTINUE ANYWAY !!! OR VICE VERSA KNOWING /FEELING I HAVE THE BETTER HAND ONLY TO BE HUMBLED BY VARIANCE GIVING THE OPPOSING PLAYER A CARD THAT BEATS ME !!! EASY GAME WHEN IT GOES THE OTHER WAY !! KINDA LIKE REVERSE IMPLIED LUCK !!!
Chewy, I sent u an email-NickD #MRDealz
I’m surprised Trick Time didn’t reraise. That dude is savage.
I suggest better graphics. I could not see the suits on my phone
Never realized how big your eyes are until this moment
Clyde!!
We love Clyde!!
Foxen had a great hand to squeeze pre too.
What’s the matter u don’t make enough $ playing poker ?
downswings
I think Sam played that great except the turn bet sizing is too small for a FD or top pair, and Alex attacking that shows the levels, that being said who’s to say that Sam doesn’t use that size with his nutted hands and is balanced in that spot all the time and gets paid a l lot vs opps weaker bluff ranges.
New Subscriber. Keep em coming ❤
So what happened?
czcams.com/video/I3674FuM5P4/video.htmlfeature=shared watch here for the full analysis 🎉
Dead link .. frigg'n screen game 🙄
can you explain to me why Sam went for that sizing on the turn cbet? is it just a leveling war? because I imagine a larger sizing would be more effective on that wet board.
after xraiser checks turn, their range is either a trap or a giveup most of the time so betting big doesn't accomplish much, although i could be wrong
@@seenvideos6828 I think you're spot on, small sizing against a polarized range
Very interesting to hear you speak on this, I've always believed that in poker its very important to develop your intuition or gut. You can only do this through experience. There are times in poker where your intution of the state of players and conditions at the table should trump the solvers. Understanding when, is an interesting challenge, and certainly not black and white Wish I could discuss this with you further
Love you for this Chewey. I feel like this was tailor made for what I'm trying to improve in my game
What do you think of Sam Several calling on the button? How about Alex Foxen's check-raise on the flop? Let us know in the comments!
Soveral’s call on btn seems terrible… much rather 3b or fold that.. his hand is dead money if someone squeezes behind and performs poorly multi way…. Foxen’s multi-way c/r seems a bit loose..as he probably doing this with all bdfd/bdsd combos… maybe he picked up a read on soverals flop sizing…. Love Foxen’s turn c/r though….
Tightest table I’ve seen lol
🐐
you guys too sharp to have a poor setup like this. camera is making me feel nauseous.
No
Did you just go skiing lol
my style of poker.
i’m a simple man. when chewy talks poker, i listen.
Dude you are a legend love watching you on Triton
For me it’s Phil Ivey.
surprised u didn't fit in pot odds in these building blocks. after all they influence decisions tremendously. or is it part of strategies
It's an aspect of strategy and will be discussed in future videos which continue to break down the game 🙂
Who is your favorite poker player? Let us know in the comments :D
Thanks this is really useful, this is going to become a great channel :)
Happy to hear that!
