He had some very Rocky Horror Picture Show vibes
Everything Bozzio ever did was a solo... the guy is unspeakably unmatched... neal pert wished, bonham said fuck it and did something as impressive. but yeesh, this guy's spirit was pure fire... golly... RAWR... wow, whatametronome...
You just can't do this on the stage anymore. I mean, no one does this on the stage anymore.
This is so much more heavy than any heavy metal. Young people just need to go home and practice. Practice a lot.
Fukyes
What a voice he had/still has
Silent Hedges samples.
BASS 💥
Unforgettable❤❤❤
I saw Frankie live in the eighties at Manchester Apollo
Way underrated band!
He basically made no good music during the 70s, what a waste of good talent
what is the name of this song?
Punky's whips
por favor, qual o nome dessa musica?
This would be crazy on the heavy acid of the 70s
what is the name of this song?
@@user-fh1vh7kw7w Punky's Whips
Lou modified his look by cropping his hair and full Dog Collar look. But Rock n Roll Animal was Legendary. I wish a full concert Box with Video would see the light of day. Great period.
Which the hell show was this? Halloween '77?
what is the name of this song?
Sounds like a bunch of fucking noise to me, man.
They make it look way too easy here. Epic
what is the name of this song?
why is Bozzio acting so weird , every time you see a missing persons video , the dude is solemn and almost comatose..... all an act. super cringe mode.
what is the name of this song?
Great footage
If any Drummer resembles the Animal from the Muppets in human form it was Bozzio with Zappa.
Uuuuuu grodie
Shreds.
They were so good live. I saw them when I was a kid in high school and was just blown away by the sheer power of their performance. Every song sounded like this. This bass playing is just nuts!
Mark O'Toole was the most accomplished musician of them. Used to play this brilliant cover in a live band, it was a bitch to play for a 'non picker' but sooo satisfying ❤
For a song about (iirc) accidentally finding a picture of a dude hot and making a joke out of it this song goes obscenely hard.
Was the best guitar player of all time.
European Tour Berlin 1973. Peter Walsh on bass.
You probably have to be of the same ilk as the band members to think this effort was a patch on the original
Wow. Really different to the live album, but same vibe. Great stuff.
Frankie … the seminal UK band in a truly great decade for music. This is but one example.
Forty years on, still sounding fresh.
The legendary 'Rock n Roll Animal' band. I love Lou Reed's "dark" style in this brief 72-73 period. I looked for the full concert, but never found any favorable results. It's a shame, but at least we have this cool fragment. Thanks for sharing!
Zappa sounds here as if he picked up exactly where Hendrix left off.
Zappa introduced Hendrix to the Wawa peddle... They were contemporaneous
Thanks. I'm not as familiar with Zappa's music as I am Hendrix's, but surely Hendrix influenced the hell out of Frank. After reading your comment I googled some 1965 era Mothers and wondered to myself why Clapton was hailed so mightily when Zappa was better than him even back then. @@mirarstudios
Fab cover superceeds the original in every way
Are you serious
Oh yes.
@@michaelnaughton2473 it takes all sorts I suppose
@@michaelmarshall9132 Sorry. This absolutely smokes Springsteen's.
@@areaman714 only if you like fgth any true music lover would pick springsteen every time
Suenan fenomenal, que buen grupo y Lou como siempre, inconmensurable
Young trent reznor on the drums killing it 😂😂
top
I can smell the late 70s through the monitor and it smells of moldy shag carpet, cigarettes and sweaty mustaches.
A lot of Bauhaus shit sucks. How did this band become a rep for goth music. This shit blows
this is amazing ty for the upload!
Terry Bozzio = Animal from 'The Muppets'
Bozzio has the greatest Animal impression of all time
AMAZING
Dick Wagner on acoustic. I worked with him a year before he hooked up with Lou. Dick was in Ursa Major at that time in 72. They played for a month at The Flying Machine in ft Lauderdale. Ursa Major were awesome and Dick was a nice guy. I like his work with Alice Cooper
LOVE Lou paired with Dick Wagner. Wish he stuck with him, because no one accompanies a vocal performer like Wagner But then again we might not have had Alice Cooper's classics as well. That i listen to basically to feel Wagner's playing. Working with Alice Cooper, Dick Wagner constructed nis very signature riffs to always accompany but never out shine the Lead. Alice Cooper is a very vocal centered band, with his sinewy pipes for sure the center of the band's music. Wagner actually started working with AC on Love it to Death. I'm coming off of a deep dive of Alice Cooper and am infatuated with Dick Wagner, and Steve Hunter, though i think that Wagner is the main arranger So naturally I'm onto Berlin, and the live albums after. Amazing stuff. The exlamitive and bashing piano chords on lady day were for sure written on a guitar I would love hear that one with all those intense chords done on Guitar.. Anyway, i found a Wagner Nugget, an Italian band that he basically joined and wrote an amazing album for, is The Mugshots, the album i Know he is on is called Love Lust and Revenge Just thought id pass on These tidbits and this deep cut. From 2011 btw. But Wagner still sounds like Wagner
WOW. This is priceless. THANK YOU!
Little skinny terry bozzio really beats that kit like a drunk southern widow might get beat
