Hey
La beutica
I've decided to eliminate these hydrant valve opening tools. I'm going to the EZ Spanner Multifunction Ratcheting hydrant wrench. as you can see, the torque on the shoulder, the repositioning of the body. It all adds up over time to a shoulder issue and/or lower back issue. After doing so many hydrants requiring Hydrant Flow Testing. I'm going to move on to the EZ Spanner which will greatly reduce repetitive motion high torque situations. You heard the Instructor telling the Trainee about being in front of the hydrant for the potential of high pressure water release. That's exactly one other reason I'm going to use a ratcheting wrench.
I came here for a sample
that fire boat is useless
That fireboat was pretty useless, wasn't it? And radio communications sucked. This video is an excellent example of a training video.
i tried to create an account but the site wasnt coming through please can you help out
I see why this is a training video.... what a mess of a response from the fire boat.
Heh...........A one man Police Boat that happens to have a pump. He actually did a pretty good job driving and pumping at the same time.
I've never seen Marine 1 with only one officer aboard, but I suppose it's possible.
Big Marina's like this one should all be required to have a fire rescue boat on standby equipped with water canons and halon extinguishers at least every other slip.So they won't have to rely on local fire departments to make up there minds as to weather or not they can be bothered to show up to the fire call.
Although I agree with you that the Marina should have it's own fire response team, before you continue putting down the fireman, try stepping into their boots and do a better job. Anybody can say they could do better. But those same talkers very rarely step up and prove it.
Andy Sjostrom -- Of COURSE the Everett Fire Department responded to the call. There was NEVER any question of them responding or not. There was some discussion of whether particular engines should respond or stay available for other calls, but that's normal.
excuse me but are you both active or past firemen? have you ever tried to control a boat in the water when the pressure of the water pushing your boat away? it is not easy to control.
I have. BFD fire boat!!
Marine 1 is a police boat with a pump.
Robert Crume "have you ever tried to control a boat in the water when the pressure of the water pushing your boat away? it is not easy to control." It would be easier to control the boat if they reduced the water pressure and spread the stream into a spray.
A million-dollar fire boat with a useless skipper. He sent a wasted million gallons right over the targets. Insisted on a stream when a spray would have worked better. Hope he's gone for the next fire.
They're ever where, local FD on land near me and you can't make them understand, I talked till I was blue in the face with one and he just would not understand, even while watching a similar video. Their right and you're wrong mentality.
It's a one man police boat. Another worthless poster.
Marine 1 needs to get the water on the boats!
Yep. Move closer and use spray, not stream.
Remember now we foot the ladder from the front, not underneath. You can look up and see what is happening and stuff doesn't fall on your head like glass or a dropped axe. A simple foot against the spur is all it takes.
Who is that handsome nozzleman?
