And especially interesting: Even the cafe/Business Class car this go-round is Horizon Fleet (cf. prevailing practice of using an Amfleet such for that function on Borealis). Was this just a fluke, or is it likely that Horizon Fleet cafe cars could turn up on the Borealis all the more?

She'd be a good candidate for restoration. Roller bearing side rods and all axles have roller bearings too. Just needs converting to oil firing rather than coal firing. Fast engine she is too, capable of 100 miles an hour all day long.

I just want to say that this is located in LaCrosse Wisconsin (hometown) and this is a static steam train. The whistle you hear is just a 5-chime hooked up to a air compresser.
