What's up everybody! Thank you for landing on my channel. I am proud to be bringing over 25 years of landscape, turf management, fertilizer and soil amendment research and development, and insider industry knowledge to this channel. As the owner of Greene County Fertilizer Company, I wanted a channel that was not directly related to my company so that I could share on more topics, answer questions about a multitude of products and concepts and be an overall resource for all you turf and landscape lovers.

Retrofit IRRIGREEN SPRINKLER to old system
Spring Lawn care is chaotic. I've been trying to complete some modifications / upgrades to my sprinkler system. I have added a few heads and I plan on saving more money this year on my water bill.

Kill weeds for good. Today we are spraying Glyphosel pro 41%, (glyphostae / roundup) to kill canada thistle as well as other invasive weeds and grasses out of flowerbeds, walkways, gravel... but not the lawn. DO NOT USE ON YOUR LA WN IF YOU WANT ANYTHING TO LIVE. Canada Thistle is a noxious weed in utah and must be destroyed. If you are concerned about roundup / glyphosate, don't use it. find a...

Pros And Cons Of The Irrigreen Sprinkler System
Looking fantastic 🔥
Looking great 🔥
There's usually no summer here until after 4th of July just rain.
Sorry but your background music isnt fit with your content so pls change it
The recovery we witness in your lawn from winter, snow mold and varmints is amazing. Keep sharing and teaching!
It’s still got some recovering to do, mainly the rodents. I am dealing with all new challenges this year and I’ll be getting into those this week
Lawn. Lol.
Looks amazing, buddy it's all because of your great products!!👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice. Looking good.
Not ripping your shin open on that seems like safety first to me
If that’s galvanized you need to spray it with galvanized paint. That cut will rust in no time
I'm gonna rent a plate compactor for bumpy backyard. I've used plate compactors in construction and I think it may be the secret to try.
2010 memories 🥲
Rule #1: Don't Suck! Rule #2: If you're going to suck, look cool doing it! Safety Third!
Truth.
😂😂😂
And yes safety second for sure. That is my motto, right after “measure once, cut twice”, (and go to store three times)
Well now I just wanna see what it is!!
I have used both of these brands hose end sprayers and for ease of use I'll take the Ortho sprayer over the Chapin for one simple reason. The Ortho has a trigger you can squeeze and adjust flow rate by how much you depress the trigger. The Chapin just has an on/off valve that can be difficult to switch on and off when you have protective gloves on and as you are trying to turn it off water is still spraying out while on Ortho, you just stop pressing the trigger which is much safer and easier to use.
No pooing here in that like 😂 been on the 👀 for 📦. I had to put down an a liquid app to feed the turf a bit last week. Lawn is looking great. I need to find a way to maximize my greeneffect app and this does the trick!
I need help my back thatch is very wide spread. I live in MD can anyone tell me what machine I need
The sunjoe, the ryobi, the green works, they all do the same thing
@@Lawncology thank u
Why is it so difficult to find a company that does dethatching?
@@Optimist133 I can’t answer that question without understanding your regions marketplace. Where I live, it’s a fairly common offering.
I had the same with my Toro lawn mower in N.Z. I has 4,400m2 but the lawn never looked good, it left clumps of cut grass every were. It had some good points , but lawn appearance is tops.
You can rent a dethatcher for a half day for like $100
3:41 - yep
If it's sand, then it's not a big deal. I had someone roll their dolley with a heavy inflatable water slide, and it left ruts on my yard that has about 1.5 inches of sand on top.
Looks like that's just outside the green given how much sand is there
I have the EZ-Flo System. Is there anyway we can get a ratio and application rate for N-EXT products? I would want to come up with some kind of solution that is a mix of RGS, MicroGreene, maybe some sea kelp and perhaps green pop. I dont want to put a lot of nitrogen out, just supplements to work on the soil at a very low and slow rate everytime I water
Set your flow to the middle setting and fill it up
Traditional sprinklers are designed to overlap. They're not overwatering.
Happy wife Happy life
Time, money, the right tools for the job. Oh and the desire to do the freakin job in the first place.
Bang bang ‼️
I'm so glad i don't have the wild life problems you have. The occasional squirrel and rabbit is all
I’m not sure that my sulfur distribution was entirely unfruitful, I only saw one sneak barely into the grass today
I wish we had squirrels here in Brazil 😢😢😢
Get a cat or something like that and put it outside it’ll keep them away and maybe bring you some presents here and there
It's called strychnine, they'll be pushing daisy's in no time
Very well explained thanks
Are those squirrels or some other varmint? Must have nose plugs- my luck would be that they like it and it draws more- lol
Technically they are called “Uinta Ground Squirrels” they live underground and look like Squirrels but don’t have the tail. Locally they’re called “Potguts.”
@@Lawncology I seen someone laid down chicken wire and nailed it to the ground, it laid flush to the soil and the grass grew between it, they absolutely hated trying to dig through it
@@KDlGG interesting
I have bluebirds using the nestbox and they chase EVERYTHING out of the yard, including squirrels. Great entertainment to watch with coffee in the AM.
Hey it's memorial day weekend. We've had rain today and fam and friends over. Grass is grass. Couple cuts and all will be well
Bare handed, cold-blooded!
I can almost feel the pull…and the satisfaction.
get to the point... what a useless time suck
So two years later and you still can see the markings on the grass? Weren’t these supposed to go away? Something doesn’t add up.
My neighbor had a nice lawn mower, some kids down the road threw bolts in his yard. I hard him doing his yard one day and heard the donk! Now his mower makes a tapping noise every time he uses it and he's always livid doing his yard now.
Get a bag of water soluble urea and mix it with some Feature.
You do know that feature is more expensive per available nutrient than 700 or microgreen right? Given the app rates I’m shocked people buy that stuff at all.
Hard to stay up to speed with an etf approval
If you have thatch in your yard, it's dead and survives only on the chemicals you feed it.
When you were digging the trench your soil looked amazing.
No Memorial Day sale price yet. I’ve been waiting for a good sale. But $3k for a self installed medium system is not a sale. They were offering $750 off, did that end?
Would love Irrigreen, but for where I want it I only need 1 head, and boy thats really expensive upfront.
Lawn is recovering well especially given the snow
I am in Utah as well... not far from you. Do you suggest anything on newly planted trees? Just planted 4, 2 inch caliper trees.
