Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, NJ is thankfully a very busy mall. These days there are a lot of "dead" malls in the US. Cherry Hill mall is always bustling with shoppers. It's a great mall that gives a 90's/2000's vibe. It's such a fun place to come visit and hang out.

Sure are a lot of cops doing "nothing"
Doesn't look like a place where I'd want to live.
She asked in the video "when did this town go from good to bad?" It started in the late 60's when Camden's biggest businesses left. The NY ship company, RCA, and Campbell's soup are a few. Although Campbell's soup HQ is still there they don't make the soup there like they used to. Also," the great white flight " which is when most white people up and left the city. Some say because the businesses left and some say because black people were moving in in droves. It's up to debate of course. And the nail in the coffin of this once thriving city was the crack epidemic of the 80's. Quite frankly, today's opioid epidemic isn't helping the city from trying to revitalize the town. Hope this helps answer your question.
Basically, businesses leave, jobs disappear, poverty sets in. It's the same story throughout the rust belt. Look at Detroit, E. Cleveland, Cairo, IL, to name just a few. E. Cleveland and Detroit make Camden look good.
I'm afraid the same might happen to nyc because of the migrant crises they are having. It feels worse than anything that the city has gotten through in the past.
@@drivingadventures9020 NYC is certainly a mess these days. I won't go there anymore.
It's pretty f..king pathetic. Sad yes true, governments that don't give a s...!
Sad that we're letting our historical areas rot away while most people move to the "hippie" ones.
I wouldn’t call that “packed”…but I’m glad to see people out and about enjoying themselves.
Denver also has a vibrant indoor mall. Minneapolis and downtown Montreal also have ones that are busy.
We are a long way from "packed" it still looks mostly empty but its busier than most malls. Still nothing compared to what malls used to be.
Nice day. xoxo
The really SAD part about this is the law allows them to hang out there.
Vote Blue, Enjoy the Zoo.
Like your channel, keep up the good work. If I may make a suggestion, make some more commentary, even just what street you are on.love to hear your thoughts on things. I used to live in Woodside and have researched its history. A sidenote, when you turned right on Queens Blvd to 58th Street, that street used to be called Betts Ave, after a resident from colonial times, that street ran from Woodside Ave, to Maspecth Creek where farmers would ship their products to Manhattan. Also on 58th just before 43 Ave, was the Covin farm house, British troops would patrol that Street and one time arrested Mr, Covin as he was working on his wood pile and his wife had to go see General Howe to get him released.
@@alphascentar6246 thank you for that info that is unbelievable. I also lived in Woodside for a few years and went to school in Sunnyside in the 90s
Vote blue no matter who! lol
@@smittysmitty481 people who do that are the real zombies.
@@drivingadventures9020 what’s dad is our wonderful country is ran by a uni-party. Both our current presidential candidates take their orders from the same billionaires.
They are Zombies. Unfixable as well.
Beautiful city want to visit

I knew a friend who worked at a rehabitation center in Harrisburg. Needless to say, he quit after two months
@armorpro573 I can't even imagine working at a place like that. Just driving around the area makes me so depressed for these people.
@@drivingadventures9020 It’s a hellhole for sure. People are useless when they don’t want to be helped
Sadly this is not exclusive to just Philadelphia. And the people in charge won't do anything about it in their million dollar penthouses.

Collingwood has a car show every third Thursday from April to October. They close off the main drag. It's pretty cool.
@francisdv I didn't know that. That will be so nice to see, thank you
I love visiting Collingwood 😊
@@francisdv me too
Cool
You know, I've been all over CMD and not once had an issue with anyone..... buuuuut truth be told, I have witnessed MULTIPLE shootings first hand 😬 so yeah, it def isn't the safest place... but like any other place like that, if you mind your business & your manners, you should be ok for the most part. I used to be out North Camden all the time, and it definitely gets wild out that way 💯
This is the worse one iv ever seen, but I felt safe in your car. If only that. Maybe I'll skip the Philly cheesesteak. The city looks so nice but that
@justaspritestull5741 it's so bad there. I grew up in nyc in the 80s and 90s and never saw anything like what I saw in Kensington.
I don't know about you but I am so glad you are getting out of there
Idk which is worse. Skid Row or this. But let's be honest, homelessness will never be fixed in a lifetime. It will just keep piling on as we shake off the dirt under the rug
I remember that as a child and that was in the 70's. Nothing has changed.
❤🐔
I lived on nostrand gates for 8 years back in the 80s.
Another night in a scumbag liberal democrat run city
I guess the neighborhood has gentrified a lot since you last lived here, huh?.....
@RantRantJoe yeah, feels a little like Park Slope now. Not bad.
It's a shame this part of town was left to rot. Such a disgrace on the city's image
Yeah, it's terrible. I saw a pregnant addict last night.
@@drivingadventures9020 From what I heard, all of this is intentional to lower property value so developers can seize more easily.
@@armorpro573 omg 😱 I never thought of that
@@drivingadventures9020 And I’m not exaggerating. Andrew Callaghan has made a video regarding the issue.

lmaoo 7:11 thats my uncle in the white shirt crossin the street lol
Wait, what did this place look like back then? From the looks of things, it's not too bad although too much graffiti everywhere.
@armorpro573 it gives a hip vibe now. It still kind of looks the same, but I got the feeling that it is becoming like Park Slope and other "hip" areas.
@@drivingadventures9020 Regardless, the city should do a better job at cleaning up the area.
@armorpro573 that's true. I get a feeling that the people who are taking over the area don't want to lose that gritty feeling. Although they're buying brownstone for close to 1-2 million dollars, they're adding new graffiti to the area and keeping the gritty nyc look going. Bed stuy was never a place with lots of graffiti. The new residents seem to want to give the area an 80s feel.
@@drivingadventures9020 I always thought it was partially due to the pandemic. From residents moving away to constant lockdowns, it gave graffiti artists an opportunity to deface whatever property they pleased. But from what I heard, a lot of people miss the "good old days" of gritty NYC so they want to replicate it in a gentrified era.
@armorpro573 Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too
Wow, I love it, thanks for the tour.
Thank you for watching!
How could "they" let this happen? Who's they, all the people in PA, the US, all humans on this pale blue dot?
The f'ing government. Holy shat you people that ask "who is they" are slow
What are you gonna do, they are addicted looking for a place to dump...
