For my Onewheel or what does my son do on his MTB? On my onewheel I nudge over them or sometimes flight fin jump them, but they can be a challenge for sure. The uphill rooty sections I try to skip and I sometimes have to carry it up. The OW just doesn’t have enough torque to climb decently sized obstacles, especially when you are 200+ pounds.

Buckle up, the adventure is about to begin! I had to wait 6 months when I pre-ordered mine because of delays and then a recall, but I was able to snag a used 16X to learn how to ride in the meantime last fall.

Hey Hoffman! For this ride I just have some custom foam pads on. I had the V1s on which I loved. I switched them for a pair of V2s, but my pedal inserts and max heigh pedal position made them too tight so Kai is making me a slightly higher and more relaxed fit that should be arriving soon. Let me know how your first ride goes!

@@TrevorBarone had the same problem. lowered my pedal back to stock height🤙

Santos does get very busy at times. It is many dozens of miles of single track, after 20 or so trips I know where and when to go to avoid crowds.

Yes tons of fun, especially using Strava to set times for yourself and others to race. Highly recommend the TR1 tire, it’s not too tough to make the swap, fits great.

@@Wheel_fast_euc_rider I set up an account with amazon japan (took 2 mins), and just search TR1 2.75 x 14. It looks very much like the Sherman stock off-road tire and performs amazingly. I had an even knobbier motocross tire for about 100 miles before I put on the TR1, it was awful. It was the minicross 2.5 x 14, you can see it in my other videos. Suspension is a huge game changer. I think the V11 has sorted out bearing issues in their recent batches. For MTB trails I would not recommend the V11 over the S18, but if you are predominantly doing street and maybe some grass, the extra battery is worth it compared to the inferior suspension design of the V11.

Good point! I've been seeing more and more DIY and well fabricated products to address this, although I'm pretty well attached to my machine with the jump pads and spikey pedals. I'm having a hard time contemplating how the bottom would contact me, but I guess it is possible.

TR1 is much easier to pilot. The Mini IRC doesn’t want to listen to input leaning left or right and it’s even a task just to get it to go straight!

No trimming needed on this tire! It was not super fast to change the tire, but it was pretty easy, no special tools needed except maybe a bicycle tire lever. The KingSong directions are pretty straight forward on their youtube video. The only place we could find it is Japan Amazon. Takes a few minutes to set up an account and shipping was $40, but all in it was only around $80 and it arrived from Japan to Florida in 4 days 😳

It’s the TR1 2.75 x 14. Handles pavement well. It’s perfect on trails and decent on pavement. No rubbing or fender modification needed.
