I got my dog without meeting him and we were a perfect match. Life is grey, however I definitely do agree that it’s usually better to meet the dog. I was also young so I was ready to handle the high energy needs of a Husky. Still, a very good point you make in this video!

I used to rollerblade with my Husky, Kai. We both loved it so much. He passed away from cancer a couple months ago. He was only 7. But man we had so much fun. I will miss him everyday. 💙

Im not heartless..and i do feel bad that hes so anxious..we have 2 cats that love dogs..and another dog 6 yrs old .female( all pets are spayed/altered) He's been trying to be friends with her, shes not having it. Diva Deb wants to boss him..and hes afraid of her.. he's very timid no aggression and never tried to retaliate with her. Im at my wits end. Ive had some bad health issues( im an amputee also) so we dont run, walk far,vor stay out .he doesnt like being out..he hates wind, rain, hot humid sun..and we live in the south. He wants me to stay with him all day as he sleeps on my bed.

I'm with my crazy dude..pitboxer escape artist..24/7. Im retired, work from home... Heres the crazy part..at 6months old, he was crate trained by me within a week.. he'd patiently allow me to do Virtual classes with my disabled daughter, and at 10am..he's out, walked,fed, watered and goes back to sleep. He gets into all this trouble, chewing doors, breaking thru gates, chewing thru crates...and I'M HOME. MAYBE HE IS PROTECTING ME?? MORE LIKELY I PROTECT HIM...

I get the channel is Dog Psychology so a dog lover, but seirously if a dog were charging me or my kid then I would just shoot it. It's the owners fault for letting it free roam where it could run into traffic or have altercations, shoot or pepper spray a dog if you can, not hide on a car. I was charged by some dogs when I was in Asia, picking up a stick or large rock scared them off, undeveloped places let dogs free roam a lot.

In bumf*ck Apopka Florida - packs of wild dogs were plentiful and would regularly chase you in packs. The collars were so tight on some and a barbed wire fence, or any barrier, was all that separated us. I thought it was my time. However, an unnatural hyper speed sprint to the strip mall saved me . Can't make this up: either too scary or not scarry enough. In my case quite scary enough.

My Stella, a Staff adores her laser pen, she 13 half years old and loves her life still running like a lil yapy puppy, no joint problems (cod liver oil). In ten mins of me standing still she will happily run 2 miles on night walk! All my Staffies were nutters, they say a dogs like the owners and its true. Stella was hard to train and the laser pen was only method after my Shadow died I could keep her focussed to me ❤

When I was a teen a dog I walked past everyday to get home was foaming at mouth, barking and charging me so I didn't make eye contact and walked slowly, ingnoring it but he broke the fabric on my back pocket and butt cheek with his teeth before a little dog came to my rescue, barking at him and leading the huge dog away. I had no idea what to do then or what to do in the future if it happens again.

I’ve been around dogs all my life. But I never understood them until I received a golden retriever and a year later I came down with multiple sclerosis and was pretty much bed ridden for 8 months. His daily walks through the woods was gone and emotionally he took a big hit as I did. During the 8th month he sprang into action. Every morning between 7-7:30 he would come into my room and just start poking me with his big nose and irritating me to no end. So I started getting up and into my wheelchair and going out on the porch with him, then that wasn’t good enough. Them small trips started getting further and further. Well I’m no longer in a wheelchair, I do walk with a bad limp. Have to sit regularly but where would I be if my puppy dog not irritated me into complete motivation to get up and moving. He accomplished what several doctors, psychiatrist and medication couldn’t ! I am no trainer but my biggest message to people wanting to get the best out of their dogs, instead of trying to teach and train all the time, listen and learn from them as well. They are without doubt the best friends among us !

What if you dog has to go every other week or less to get them done? What do you advise? I just had my dog's done 5 days ago and now they need to be done again! We typically do to the vet 2 to 3 times a month.

Video should have mentioned the causes of bloat…. Feeding / exercising.
