Today I have a short walk around at the Vermilion Dam Lodge. We were lucky enough to take a 4 day trip to the lodge in late July. This place is top notch! There is something for everyone from adults to kids. Tucked back in the northwest corner of scenic Lake Vermilion with quick access to excellent fishing and boating. Check out the link below to their website. Stay tuned for upcoming fishing v...

Our annual week long trip to the Whitefish Chain in Crosslake, Minnesota. Did a week of walleye fishing with some great results. Mainly trolling mid lake humps but also found some on a slip bobber mid day in the weeds. Stay tuned for more videos to come! omnia.direct/DanSidleOmniaBlue

Rigging up my new electronics!
zhlédnutí 145Před 4 měsíci
Hey guys just a little video here of my boat set up for this season. Added a bunch of new things Helix 12, mega 360, lithium batteries etc. Decided to do all the rigging myself to save some money and it was a great learning experience!
I shot my first deer!
zhlédnutí 124Před 4 měsíci
New content for everyone out there. My first ever hunting trip. I was out in eastern Pennsylvania in early December and spent 4 days in the stand and it was definitely a different experience than fishing. Ended up bagging my first ever deer, a small doe and brought some meat home for the freezer. Fun time and hopefully I will get the chance to go again!

wow thats bigger than my first fish i cought
He pays this Alex guy
First like!! Biggest fan!! Keep the content coming.
That hurts so bad
Nice catches. Can you give a little more general info -- what time of year? What kind of structure?
@@crazycarlsju thanks for the input. This was early June. Mainly trolling mid lake humps, and slip bobbers in the weeds
Jeff a big Jags fans?
Doesn’t know how to check the weather and didn’t bring rain gear so I had to bail him out as usual
First time driving a trailer? 😂
Stick to reffing
Love me some smallie fishin’. I’ll be looking for more of your videos! Nice.
My favorite as well! I appreciate you watching.
Which model Lund boat do you have?
It is a 2019 1775 adventure
How were the bugs?
You mean the birds
Sabes Dangle!!!!!!
Quite the upgrade, Dan! After only 1 year, it's too early to do upgrades to my Adventure. I did all my electronics rigging last year and saved about $600 compared to my dealer's quote.
I’ve been eying up the 360 for about 2 years. Finally pulled the trigger with the rebates. Huge cost savings doing the rigging! It was a challenge but glad I learned!
Who’s dog is walking in your yard and the road?
Neighbors dog, Jake
Uff da
Double lung from the looks of it, congrat on the harvest, fill that fridge up
Thanks!
Congrats!
Awesome!
Can we enter this next summer?
No kicker motors allowed
Awesome video brother, beautiful small jaws
Always nice to get a few on a short trip!
First
“First” time you’ve ever been first.
Beautiful boat. Does it fit in your garage? Do you store it in your garage?
Yes I store in my garage during the open water season. With the swing tongue the storage length is about 20’ long.
@@dansidlefishing how wide is the boat on the trailer (distance between fenders)? Lund says 7’6”, but not sure how accurate that is.
@@christopherb3802 just pulled a tape and 7’6” is accurate.
@@dansidlefishing thank you!
Best one yet
Great hat!
How were you managing to catch the walleye? I always struggle.
It was a tough bite for sure this year. Trolling scatter raps on the weed lines seemed to be best this time around, but definitely needed to cover some water to find them.
Good eaters? Throw them back.
Why don’t you net them?
Nets are for the weak
I caught more cheese curds than fish this year
Great video
Nice ! What side
East side, worked a bunch of spots from the cedar creek access up to the agate resort.
@Crocs
Those are fish, not birds
Thanks!
Any Barbs on your hooks?
State bird really gettin to ya
Wouldn’t be so bad without the skeeters
When does the Merch drop?
Do you like the Ultrex? Is that pedal in the way? I usually see that set-up on bass boats. I have a Terrova but looking at something newer.
Love the ultrex. I mainly bass fish so I use the pedal a lot and nothing beats the power steering. It is a little bit bulky, but I wouldn’t say it gets in the way of anything. If you use the pedal with any frequency at all the Ultrex is the way to go.
how's towing with your Pilot? would you say the Pilot is adequate as a tow vehicle for this Adventure?
Very good towing. Gets good mileage and pulls with no issues. I did add the transmission cooler, which increases the towing from 3500 to 5k. Mainly just for piece of mind.
Dan, just wondering what mount that is for the Helix 10? I've got the exact same setup on my 2021. Nice boat!
It’s a ram mount. I didn’t personally pick it, dealership installed the helix 10 when I pieced the boat together, so I’m not exactly sure which of the ram mounts it is, but I’ve been very happy with that mount. Very sturdy, screen never moves.
Good video but get a mic
bow looks much smaller in this video than it is in person
2021?
This is a 2019, first model year. Really the only thing that’s changed is black trim on the windshield Vs the silver that I have.
Can 2 person fish bow, how stable is it, does it rock side to side? Thanks
boat is very stable we fish up to 4 guys no issues
Dan, that live well lid liner that falls down seems to be the perfect application for some adhesive backed velcro from JoAnn Fabrics. Put a 1 inch strip in each corner of the liner and with the mating material on the live well lid and you'd be good to go. If you want to permanently stick it, 3M automotive trim tape from any auto parts store will stick it to the lid for a long, long time.
Thanks! Automotive trim tape sounds perfect. Don’t think I’ll ever need it to come out, and trim tape should be waterproof. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion and for watching!
Thanks for the video. Looking at purchasing the same boat so I'm trying to educate myself before I go talk to local dealers. If I make the leap, I'll be hyped for spring (it's going to make MN winter drag on for me, though)! I just wanted a new motor for my 32 year old Alumacraft but wife said "why don't you just buy a new boat? Yours is too small for taking whole family out". Who am I to argue with her!?
Minnesota winters kill me! I keep it out as long as possible in the fall and get it out as early as I can in the spring. It’s a great family boat for us. We have 3 plus a dog with plenty of room to roam for everyone. The difference in the 1675 & 1775 is in the main floor space. That was a big selling point for me.
What’s that sticker behind the steering wheel?
Fantastic boat, where’s my tackle bag?
