RIP
This was FANTASTIC.
the youtube algorithm has a sick sense of humor
Ok,at the 1:35 mark, can anyone tell me what is playing in the background?!
I used to love moving those foam rubber blocks using that remote-controlled arm (shown at 0:23 ), to me that was one of the best exhibits at the Ontario Science Centre. I was sad when they removed it for other things.
Today June 17 2024 The Science Centre closed its doors due to neglect of the structure. RIP as a child who grew up going to it be it with my parents or on school trips. Be it taking my kids and them growing up. This building was a true architecture beauty of mid century we will never get back. A sad day for Toronto and the city should be ashamed. Not many beautiful buildings of this underappreciated era left in the city.
I'm sad too. Even as a 10 yearold I felt how special the building was. I will miss it so much and I'm glad I got to take my 3 yearold there this year. I worry the zoo is next.

I thought he is going to make a Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectrometer. But he actually made a Compact Disc (CD) Spectrometer LOL

Hi
Why is there no comments?
My home 🏠 12 St. Dennis across the street ❤
this video was very insightful! Adam, i love your eyes, they're very kind. thank y
❤I just heard the science center, is to be moved. As a teen I live across the road of center,as it was built. The site is , a reflection of life in all forms. Built into the surrounding . The history along, so it should not be moved, it's where it was most central to it's purpose. Incorporate, up date, add to its true purpose. But Please Don't Move.❤
the two best parts of our 1970's class trip to the science centre were: i) the talking 'coffee' machine, and ii) the Tesla Coil - does anyone know what happened to the talking coffee machine!? id love to remodel that thing as a software synthesizer. ☕️
I remember that! I was born in 1976 and across the street on St. Dennis. ❤
One of my favorite person's in the world. 🤓
Amen! Mine too!😇 🙏🏽🦕
That’s my mom at 0:17 in green!
That's amazing, I remember doing and feeling what your mom was doing there in 1975-1980, magical times that seem to be lost.
Where is Lystrosarus
Who manufactured this plasma ball? Looks fantastic!
These are not High Pressure Sodium street lights, they are LEDs
this is so far the best video ever! i have been watching so many videos to try to understand all this, and you easily explained! and now i can see some of my mistakes, I have been working on perfecting a very personal recipe for some time and I think that here I found everything I needed to venture out and try my first personal recipe of my own! thank you so much!
I still don't understand
YOU THAT'S SO SICK!!!
Just to clarify, this is a spectroscope as I am aware. A spectrometer analyzes the band of light!
I had this done at the Science Center for a magazine photoshoot in 1975.
Wow,, 👀 😳 🇨🇦
why do we have to watit exactly 10-15 minutes? please give a scientific response I have a lab report due on the 1st of December. Thank you!
