It really is. Tho in my personal opinion, it is also very grindy. So I personally recommend modifying ini a little bit. At least last time I went heavy with it.

@@austinstoner6270 Yeah crafting costs and esp crafting speed. Its very grindy and very slow. Even with high rates if you dont modify things, I used like 5 of the same station before.

There is a ASA version of the mod. I however honestly do not know if it is on Xbox. However with how popular the mod is, and I think I remember some comments mentioning it before, it might.

If you’re to the point of grinding legendary weapons, really should have explored and progressed in the game to have done that.

Not 100% always, but essentially the best spots and also mainly the only spots. Especially the fancier chests. These are just the easiest locations to grind them for max level legendaries.

Please be aware of 2 things, this mod showcase is over 8 months old and that it was only for the Steam ASE version.

Yeah when I was playing I didn’t run into so many of them. I was able to do more the engineering them. Great mod. But pretty sure he stopped work for ASE. Many devs did. So it could be and likely is very different in ASA.

I am not sure what you mean. This showcase is at least 7 months old. And I don’t track what happens with ASA, or the mod pages afterwards.

Idk about for ASA, but at least for ASE, at the time of the showcase they could. Both the Indo raptor and the Indom rex.

Yeah I had actually used them myself. Smoked all of the bosses on Fjordur. They should also be able to handle gigas if a good level. Even better if you breed them a bit. I still wouldn’t do more than one at a time and mate boost them.

If you are using any other version than that on the Steam workshop for ASE, it is not the same mod version. So might have changed.

@roguenerdsyndicate I'm on xbox series sx. Very confused on how to cheat spawn because the code isn't fully in the page online and not sure what else to do. Just got the game.

Yeah I have absolutely no idea how it is with ASA or on console. Theres 2 main Ark versions. I only cover the first one. The version that has mods on Xbox is the second, ASA. I do ASE. I really don’t know how to help you with ASA.

I honestly do not know if it was added to console or even ASA. I do my showcases for ASE on Steam.

I sadly have no idea. It is not my mod, just show casing it. I also only have Ark on Steam. So I wouldn't know otherwise. The mod page is linked in the description if you want to ask the mod author.

You can also add limits to the creatures. So that can also help. However I don’t know how it interacts with hibernation. So that might be the issue there with those limits. But yeah summoner is great as it requires input by the player.

The level is based on the difficulty settings on the server. Decently rare, similar-ish to gigas, but not as rare. As for where, pretty sure at one point the mod author had a map or something showing the locations. I don't know if that changed.

@raovakegaming I'm playing in ascended, in the description of the mod it says they spawn everywhere, they're actually pretty common, so far I've seen 2 IRaptors and 1 Irex

@@KrazyRhino2410 Yeah I don't have ASA, and don't plan to get it for various reasons. So if its different in ASA, I have no clue and couldn't really help on anything. Though its interesting to have made them more common.

Ahhh that is understandable. There are times that I feel like that as well. I also have ADHD, so making a video can at times be difficult with a scattering brain.

This issue is usually caused by a bad / interrupted install. Pretty common with larger mods. Unsub, Delete moro mod folder, Clear steam cache, Resub, Run ark let it install bottom right, don’t do anything til it disappears Doing this once is usually enough

So I am pretty sure they can be KOd to get the bonus levels. I do know for a fact that Immersive Taming works very well with taming. I tamed a few and got the level bonus myself. Beyond that, it would be mutations. However it is possible with wild taming, just not with the genetically engineered ones. After that it is mutations.

You can also use a mod like Simple Spawners and you can set the level range of anything added to it if you like as well.

They are generally rare, yes. Though since they don’t seem to be setup like the gigas are, they come in at least slightly more rare than alpha dinos seem to be. Just from personal experience playing it.

Number one cause is a bad install. Unsub, delete mod folder, clear steam cache, resub. Make sure the install finishes in game before loading anything.

There is a collector in the mod. Beyond that, I don’t think so.

Any creature you can breed you can get mutations on. I don’t know if ASA works differently than ASE, but at least on ASE you can. I have mutations on mine on my server. So unless the system is very different between the games, you can. Mutations can just take a long time to occur.

Ok so that is likely ASA version and while I don’t know exactly what is in the ASA and if it has both versions. But are you talking about Indom Rex or Indo Raptor? For the I Rex colors are male only, for the raptor there are 2 different generations. One generation can have colors on the male, while the female is a grey. The other generation the male is a black / reddish (from the movie basically) and the female should be grey.

Yeah the genders are highly random. However from my own experience, it seems the genetic created ones lean heavy to female. If there is Awesome Spyglass on Xbox, you could see the actual colors on the Rex. They can carry colors. You just wont see them without that.

If I remember correctly at time of recording a normal generator worked. Though it has been awhile. For certain tek generator. Sorry I can’t give a straight answer, it has been a few months since I recorded this showcase.

@@sanurapnu From what I understand its the difficulty x 20. So if your max wild dino is 150, the range is 150 - 100. as the override difficulty would be 5 for those rates.

@@roguenerdsyndicate if that's the case, then geneticly making them is not so bad. Was asking because I was wondering if the level of the targets used to get the parts (for instance rex arm or alpha rex tooth) and the level of the parents that laid the egg, was going to be a factor or not. Ty for clearing that up. Now to just hit the level needed for the engrams and work on getting element. I am Still fairly new to the game

Ahhh. Yeah, no. The levels of anything else don’t matter. Also note that they do have a chance to spawn in the wild so you might find some out there as well. However if you don’t have Immersive Taming like me, it will likely be a nightmare to tame.

Well with the title name and the mod author’s preference to avoid copyright as much as possible, I think it might be just these two. However, if he does at more, it would (sadly for me) only be on ASA. As I am pretty sure he stopped on ASE.

Haha. Oh I agree. I just added it to my server and I am going nuts with it. Love really good hybrid mods. I used to play a different one but the author just abruptly stopped working on it.

@@kennylindsay-zy4zi Well if you tamed the wild moro raptor, you can do the same with the rex. When you reach the right level you can actually craft the dinos, though they have random levels.

The more I do these sorts of videos and get out of my usual routine and comfort zone the more I learn and have fun with new little projects. Was really fun making this video.

Sounds like a bad install. This is an issue very common with large mods. I recommend reinstalling the mod. If possible both on client and server side if on a server.

Yeah it’s common with big mods. I have had that issue before. You may need to clear the Steam download cache after unsubscribing to the mod. Then resubscribing to the mod.

Yeah. It’s pretty easy for casual players. Especially if you tweak settings a little bit. The V Bloods can be a struggle, that and dealing with the debuffs like the sun. But yeah it’s easy to pick up for casuals.

It depends on the difficulty. Max level you can get is the same for wild creatures. Minimum level you can get is equal to the difficulty number multiplied by 20. So if we are on difficulty 5.0 Max = 150 Minimum = 100 (20 x 5 just incase you happen to be dogshit at math)🤣

I didn't know there were a max and min cap like that, that's cool. Explains why mine has never been below 100.

If I remember right the mod author had a map of sorts that showed. However if you use Simple Spawners, you or an admin can setup specific spawns. And if you have mods like Best Eggs or Dino Storage v2, you could have an easier time getting more of the genetically engineered ones.

They can be obtained by finding in the wild (rarely) and KO tamed, or if you have Immersive Taming, that mod works as well. Or they can be created via the structures as detailed.

I found in wild tamed but they disappear when I start my game back up

I would try using something like a Soul ball from Dino Storage or maybe a cryopod to see if it fixes it. There are still some issues in the mod last I did anything with it.

I would assume that they would. They aren’t special hybrids like an Indominus Rex (Moro’s Indomitable Duo, I have a showcase if interested). I however have not done any breeding with them, and spawned in the ones for the video as well. So if they are not producing females my suggestions would be: 1. Further test, perhaps it’s just terrible luck 2. Ask the author if it’s intended, and what chance there is 3. I highly recommend the mod “Best Eggs!” (Which I have a showcase on as well.) As you can manually assign the gender, along with other benefits that makes breeding life much, much easier.

Hello, mod author here, they should be able to hatch females, it may have to do with file verification or you may just be unlucky
