The buffalo mountain is a fair, friendly terrain for anyone wanting to kick off their mountaineering journey. Views en route encompass Lord MacMillan’s gravesite. The Delmonte plantation beautifies the horizons as the communication boosters at the summit wow a curious hiker. Monkeys might be the only visible wildlife while the century-old trees give Alice in Wonderland an aura thanks to their hanging moss. The mountain rises to 2,145m above sea level on a gentle 6.5km trail. The round hike to the summit and back to the gate covers approximately 13km and is typically completed within 4-6 hours of hiking at a moderate pace.
Fourteen Falls is a spectacular waterfall where you can stroll around the rocks at the base, take in the local flora, and soak in the cool spray from the falls. Activities such as boating across the river, bird watching, and fishing are popular too. The stunning landscape is also a photographer's paradise, with endless opportunities to capture its breathtaking beauty. Keep your eyes peeled as you might catch a diving spectacle performed by the local guides if you're lucky.
