I think this is an excellent question! I do not highlight those or praise God I'd go through highlighters like crazy..or I'd have a half yellow page. You have got me thinking though that there are some requests that I should highlight that I just haven't thought about..Instead of highlighting those you mentioned I usually thank Him daily (through prayer) when either my wife and I pray together or we and the kids pray together. dorothygregory while I appreciate your comment I have to respectfully disagree with you. The verse you reference is not talking about humans or followers of God/Christ. The author Paul is referring here to God who gives life to death. The end of that verse 17 God in whom he (Abraham) believed, who (God) gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. And moving back up to verse 13 Paul clearly states that the promise to Abraham and his offspring do not come from law, but through his faith in God. We have faith in God that he will answer the prayers we pray, whether it's yes, no or not right now, but I do not have the power to make things happen or speak myself into being healed or have a new car. Only God can make things happen. My faith in Him that He can make them happen is the only power I possess.

@sierrabuildco making connections while or after moving is tough. Harder for people like me that don't like to just strike up a conversation with someone lol. Social media in your local area is a great place to check, just searching Christian events in your town/city. Another great place is your neighborhood if you live in city limits. My first recommendation was work but after looking at your page, looks like you're the boss lol so that could be tough. This goes hand and hand with social media, but google christian evens in (your town) and you probably will have a good list, I had about 15 events in the next month. The best place is finding that church. Visit a few make sure they teach from the Word of God and 100% get involved in the mens Mistry or a small group. Praying for our leaders is very important. Christians may not agree with their stance on certain things sometimes and their values may not line up with God's word, but we should still pray that the Holy Spirit speaks to them and guilds them. Hopefully they will listen. God Bless!

Hey Charles thanks for the question. When I started there were no podcasts was just "radio preachers" so to speak and my grandfather, also a preacher. But the past years that podcasts and CZcams have gotten popular my two go to are Rick Burgess and Phil Robertson. They both have great testimonies. Rick has a once a week mens bible study on podcast or CZcams and Phil has the podcast Unashamed. Rick's is more bible learning where Phil's is just world views interviews and bible verses talked about to relate to the things they are talking about. Hope this helps. God Bless.

Thanks for sharing this Adib. I think being open with one another about our thoughts and struggles is great. I know there are others out there that struggle with the same thing. I know for me at my gym there is always temptation for that because of the outfits that are worn. God bless brother and keep pursuing God and your growth in Him and His word!
