Beautiful
Did this band play at Ronnie Scott's in 87/88, please?
Thank you! The missing track to a GREAT album - about which the critics are WRONG.

Music sublime in the skay
❤❤❤
I haven't yet heard a version of this by Trane that isn't great, especially when Dolphy is along for ride.
Sonny Stitt playing a Db blues on tenor, that’s as American as baseball and apple pie
La verdad cuando salió, solo me costó unos minutos en comprar, desde entonces lo escucho y siempre tengo la sensación de ser la primera vez, muy buenos acordes en el tiempo preciso
I love the liner notes on this LP it says in special thanks to the Roche pharmaceutical company....
Maravilhosa gravação! 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Antony Braxton surrounded by superlative musicians.
Thanks for posting sonny and ornette. . Been to the beacon many times since 71... but missed this wonderful performance by two legends 😢
Outstanding jazz..... two giants at their collective best... thank you 😊❤️
Phenomenal. Indeed 'genial' is the word. Thank you for sharing
That is sone of the most interesting photos of Monk that I've ever seen. The music?Well,it speaks for itself.

Thanks for posting. However, this is not Marvin "Smitty" Smith playing drums. This Marvin "Bugalu" Smith playing drums.
Gentilmente vuoi aggiungere la seconda parte?
This is incredible! Miles has Chick and Keith trading off on two different keyboard instruments, for sound contrasting.
Since "Out West" and " Tenor Madness" , i haven't been so much in a trance! What a level of maturity!
Thelonious Monk, Milton Nascimento and Bach... my favourite triumvirat
Merveilleux.
I love this tune as well as the whole album. Sadly, like most of her catalog, this album is out-of-print. RIP Ms. Bley and thank you for your contribution to music.
Gato is the man.
The best flutist in jazz
My name is Ezra, a Musicology student, and a saxophone student. The reason for this message is, because I'm doing an analysis of the song 'What Love'. I've always found this a very interesting song, and especially the solo between Eric Dolphy and Mingus is incredible (9:45)! Though it's also a different approach to soloing, one of the reasons being it's free take on rhythm (and sound). This fact however is also what makes it so great, it's as if listening to a real musical conversation! Seeing that you posted this material, I was wondering if you possibly ever considered transcribing the piece, and solo? If so, would you mind sharing it? I'd also like to hear any other information you could provide on this song or recording. Thanks for all your uploads on CZcams! It's nice that in this way it's still possible to listen to, and see, these great musicians.
Pete Rock used this for the street dreams remix
Madlib!
... I was there, fortysix years ago! What an emotion! ... never ending
George Adams playing the second tenorsolo here right?
ソニー・スティット、ソニー・スティット、ソニー・スティット、本当に大好きです(*^^*)
Bellissima
Grande band, pathos e ribellione. Gentilmente carica anche la prima parte. Grazie mille
The photo in the thumbnail (the first one in the video) is of bassist William Parker.
Che Sun Ra lo illumini!!!
McCoy Tyner is one of my musical Fathers-he founded a school of music through his vocabulary and therefore, according to another musical titan Arnold Schoenberg, deserves the title of "Master". This is a musical giant and should be celebrated as such and has been and will continue to be a huge influence on my work. He changed Jazz permanently for the better.
Ascult deci exist
Maybe its all.played live.was mistaken saying there is overdubbing
Here is some overdubing Archie playing both piano & sax

La Podrida. Fix that misspelled title.
