Hi there, thank you for checking in! PT has been extremely helpful 🙂 I can now play easy pop songs, but I'm still not fully recovered, and I can't play intense class pieces. Let's just say my daily practice time is only 1/4 of what it used to be 🤣

Hi Aaron, I do have 3 Guzhengs. I love them all and I pick which one to use depending on the characteristics of the song I want to play, and what quality of sound I want to use to tell the story 😊 For a beginner, I highly recommend a Dunhuang guzheng. They offer Guzhengs of a large range of price points, qualities are consistent (since each Guzheng is handmade), their sound quality is suitable for a large range of songs, and they are good for their price. What's your budget? Depending on how serious you are at learning Guzheng and your budget, most teachers would recommend you to acquire the best instrument you can. With the reputable brands, the pricing DO reflect directly in the sound quality. It would cost way more to upgrade later on compared to just to get the best you can to start out with.
