Nikon P1000 Rig NEW VERSION! - 2024
Here's an updated Nikon P1000 Rig video for 2024.
Damaging both my camera and monitor forced me to rethink how I set my rig up.
I dropped my P1000 and had to send it away to Nikon Europe which meant I was without it for about 5 weeks. I also managed to snap the screw hole on the bottom of my Neewer F100 field monitor so I tried a couple of bodge job fixes and then decided to try the method that you see in this video which actually works very well.
In my previous video I didn't have the Smallrig rails and baseplate attached. I did intend to do another video a while ago which went into detail about the new Smallrig components but I forgot all about it while I was without my camera.
Anyway, this is my complete rig as it stands at the moment. I'd still quite like to fix the screw hole and mount the monitor on the hot shoe but having the monitor on the arm is totally fine for now.
