I own a hp30r and love it would like to see what the hp35r has to offer.

The built in battery is a deal breaker. Not a big upgrade from the HP30 V2.0. I have the og HP30. This one has more lumens on flood than HP35r on paper. Long work hrs and extra pair of 18650 for my current one works better than running out of power and have to recharge a battery pack. They call it professional, it's kind of amature being locked in to that.

Built in battery is really dissapointing. I bought my HP16R cause it can take 4xAA. Last week ive got a LedLenser MH8 because it can take 2xAA. I accept non replaceable batteries in some small handheld flashlights, absolutely not in a headlamp.

I love Fenix I bought streamlight for years but quit buying them about 10 years ago and never looked back

Which do you prefer, the TK35UE v2 or LR35R? I like the 35R but dont have instant turbo.. Still choosing between those 2.

Just received my Fenix Hp30R today and tried it out tonight and love it, cant imagine how much more powerful this one will be lol guess i shoulda waited another week haha

Very good review. I didn’t have to watch the video, I simply put it to play while I was driving home from work and felt it was informative enough.

For anyone watching this video in the future: you can toggle between continuous tint ramping or binary toggle in anduril 2.0. He says it's a difference in the lights themselves but you can set it on any anduril 2.0 light.

Very nice review of the RovyVon E5WR option. I didn't want a UV option so I was glad to see that you reviewed the white/red side light, which in my opinion is the most useful. If I'm woken in the night, I think that being able to go to a low solid redlight is ideal although the main moon mode is probably quite soft on the eye. I have read that some ppl have experienced some cracking of the case. Thanks for the review 🇬🇧

Am quite surprised only @8500lm in turbo mode and that the TK35 was almost as good!

Just received mine. I bought it mostly for fun as it does not illuminate anything outside of the small dot.

It's a bummer that the boost driver cuts the output so much, make makes it way more challenging to make a decision even though I comprehend consistent output versus fast drop off

So you can have the auxiliary lights so they're changing colors I heard that that drains the battery quicker I was going to get that then I changed my I was going to get the Amber, but I think the Cyan would be best for a f*** head that loses their shit visibility wise, any thoughts? Gotta pick emitter combo kinda lost

I just bought this headlamp on dec 6 23 and a little over a month of owning it the rotary switch broke and it no longer turns on and off. Emailed customer service about the issue and got no response at all. It’s been over a week. I feel like I should get a replacement light for free I’ll send the broken one back of coarse. But again have heard nothing back. It is a really nice light but I’ve had headlamps that were 70 dollars that lasted years and this one is 220 dollars and it only lasted a month. Just something to know if you’re thinking about ordering one.

Nice flashlight, I would want the sheath to have a flap on top to cover the lens also.

My wife and I each have a Fenix lep. As you mentioned, it's a great toy but not very useful for most situations. Lots of fun though.

I purchased an LEP flashlight 🔦 it is the most pointy pointless flashlight I own. I took it into the mountains searching for firewood, and it was totally useless. It only illuminated the dot on the floor nothing else, even into the distance may be 20 m away. It was still useless! if I wanted to illuminate something a couple of hundred metres away, it was perfect but not practical because my naked eye can’t pick up detail that far away. i’ve seen some duel led beam ones available which would be more practical. There’s probably a reason, but I would love to be able to adjust the beam. very nice review, but I’m staying away from them .

Are you sure its not magnesium,maybe they chose alum even out front to back weight, the trail running one magnesium
