I may get hate for it but to me, a perfect album is ozzmosis. I loved every song on it. It isn't as heavy as most of his other stuff but to me it was what I call a mature album. Megadeth was cryptic writings Metallica was load .

What I *think* (not certain) was in the full video of this clip, was MAYBE Paul's guitar still playing after the first time he nudged next to Gene. But I'm not a musician and maybe he and Tommy trade chores, which Paul and Ace used to do sometimes. An example of that is on Rock n' Roll Over's opening song "I Want You" where Paul does the first measure of the solo then Ace branches off into his own solo.

Ya that keeps happening to me less frequently but cost me so much progress because if keeps deleting my save permanently

Charlie Engen is one of the better drummers in the world on his own, and the only reason you know about him is because he joined this crappy band two years ago. This band wants a consistent sound at every single gig, and half of their show is on a laptop anyway. They're using triggers. The kick drums are for show.

well, probably the same work ethic that most people have these days. Not feeling up to it, fuck it just call in. in saying that, I have personally stood in front of this individual and watched him play the drums without the band so he does know how to play the drums. and yes, he is using triggers. most drummers cannot accomplish the power from a stroke when playing that fast and his double kicks are very fast. A good drummer may be able to get that much power out of such a short stroke, but nine times out of 10 drummers that play music this fast use triggers in order to keep volume and power. The faster you play the closer you are to the drumhead and because of physics this will not allow you to hit the head as hard meaning it will not vibrate the other head as much. i’m not gonna lie. It did look a little fishy in that video but in saying that I have watched them perform live multiple times and watched him do drum solos multiple times. so maybe for one reason or another on certain songs he is playing to a track. I’m not really sure but he’s definitely not doing that all the way through the concert.

He might use triggers with mesh heads. Mesh heads won't move enough air to move the reso head. I don't know enough about ffdp to know that for sure though. Just an educated hypothesis. You should try it some time, ya know, being educated on what your trashing before you open your face hole.

So doing a few big tours in my days as a tech, a lot of times when bands have double bass drums, one of them is just for show, and its a double kick peddle on one bass drum to help keep the level mixing consistent and its easier to keep tuned. A lot of drummers that use large kits, a double peddle keeps things tighter behind the kit and is more comfortable to play than two separate bass drums, and some would also keep a single peddle on the "unused" kick just incase the head broke. I dont know if this is the case for Jeremy, but it was with the case with bands I worked with.

It looks like he was playing every note I heard I know sometimes there is a delay when recording also you may not see vibration in kick drums because a lot of drummers are using triggers instead of the actual kick drums when playing live.

If those front heads are mesh, as there is no reflection when Ivan passes, then you wont see any movement from them...

Many drummers do this, the 2nd bass its just for the looks/racking. Irs way less trouble to mic and tune.

Problem is that the lights are hooked up to the double bass and I couldn't see. You got a link to the video? Edit: I found the concert in question. I didn't watch the whole thing, but skipped around several points. You can see the drum heads move, it's just very subtle.

lots of drummers still use a double bass pedal with 2 kick drums, and he's obviously using triggers, i know!! It's goofy and i don't like it being a drummer myself.. but even slipknots new drummer does this and he's got 4 kick drums on his kit with a double bass pedal WTF!!

Not always, depends on how much he has stuffed in it to dampen the sound, I’ve played for 30 years, that’s a standard 4x4 count, if he has to fake that then my whole opinion of this band just went to shit

It wasn’t an actual fire. It’s the pyro burning and when it goes out the gas is off. You are required to have spotters and firefighters on hand when using pyro. They were fully aware of it the entire time.

It's a vocal delay, probably triggered by the FOH sound guy. Everyone uses them, and everyone uses backing tracks----this has been going on forever and will continue to go on.

Just saw them live and was pretty close. I don't think it's a backing track, it seemed more like the sound guys knew where the sustained parts were and slapped some extra echo on them to keep them going or he has some digital delay effect he can trigger on the mic for them.
