I still play American Wasteland and Project 8 Online multiplayer on 360. Amazing game.

I bought all of the main titles up to Project 8. The THUG games were outstanding for first playthroughs, but coming back to these games many years later I've realized that it's the more arcade like titles that are replayable. The classic levels of the first 3 games are really the draw for me now. THPS 2 is still the best in my mind. I'm not an expert at chaining together combos so the older mechanics don't bother me at all. I kind of like the limited abilities.

THAW was my fave, I loved THUG 1 and 2, project 8 on 360 was so fire as well & pro skater 1+2 is amazing I love the reskin and updated gameplay

I found this guys channel a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with his content. I tried looking him up to show my friend his stuff, but he just randomly deleted everything, and wiped himself off the face of the earth. Does anyone know what happened to him? I felt like he couldve been really fun and enjoyable to watch

I'm personally diving in back to the PS3 cause of Jak & Daxter collection, but I'm going to pick up the Sky and Ratchet collections also. This is the kind of stuff I miss which honestly PS4/PS5 is lacking. Every game feels like a movie now, and there is simply way too much going on. I prefer these more simple games that you actually PLAY.

Sonic adventure 1 and 2 are good games. There not bad there not over the top amazing there both just good games that will let you have a bit of fun. And one is always going to be better than the other. I have my favorite but others may disagree and that's fine. There both good games that I played a lot of so at the end of the day so long as you enjoy yourself who cares.

TH3 is better than Underground.

Honestly I don't know why people prefer the second game. Literally everything was done better in the first game. The speed stages went from huge to linear obstacle courses. The treasure hunting went from quick and precise to long and frustrating. Mech stages went from quick and fun to long and dull. The adventure field was removed and you just randomly end up in new places without a clue to how you ended up there. The six characters with different stories is better than one story pointlessly split in two constantly changing you to not Sonic snd Shadow. The only fun stages in the game and I already explained that they themselves are lesser than Adventure 1.

Coming off the board changed the gameplay for the worst. You no longer had to think of how to get on top of buildings and could just climb up them. I'll stick with the previous games. There's a reason the games went downhill after Underground.

That insomniac leak also points to there not being a ratchet game for a LONG time. Have you heard of Akimbot? It inspired (or ripped off depending on who you ask) by this era of games. Also, someone revived the multiplayer for Up Your Arsenal and Deadlocked. They've got a youtube channel called Horizon Private Server

I always Feel WCW/nWo Revenge was better than Mania 2000, why? I feel the textures (specially faces), arena designs was a bit rushed, thankfully those details was fixed in No Mercy. Seriously We need a WCW/nWo Revenge vs. No Mercy mod rather than Updated rosters and hd textures

Honestly the overworlds and unskippable cutscenes in Adventure 1 are enough for me to prefer Adventure 2. Brings the game to a grinding hault. EDIT: Also, I love the spindash in Adventure 1 (and Adventure 2 to a slight lesser extent) for being able to do it anywhere, anytime. People loathe it in Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06 because you have to stop to use it, and I agree, but they're techniaclly just being more accurate to the 2D games lol. Spindash peaked with the Adventure games.

As a long time AKI game player I must correct you and say that the VPW series is not at all a re-skin. If anything, the US games are more re-skinned from the VPW series. VPW2 is where it's at though. There's a TON of match options and a huge roster with American and Japanese legends. The Freem Edition adds English translation and a whole translated roster with added wrestlers from other AKI games and custom wrestlers that were never in AKI games.

While THUG was my favorite of all time i will have to put THUG2 AND THAW for pure gameplay perspective extremely polished and super fun for me

My first Tony hawk game was pro skater 2 on The game Boy advance. Made by vicarious visions, it brought me such joy to see that they were doing the 1+2 remake and now regardless of when or if we get a new Tony hawk game, I am just content with the fact that I have that remake on my switch ready to play whenever I want.

Dunno if you know about reTHAWed. which is basically (sort of) thugpro but for THAW with story mode and classic mode in tact.

Great job on the video! Growing up with THPS2, 3, 4 and THUG (and not really having played the other games until way later), it's interesting to see the perspective of someone who started out with the later games. I think THPS2's rating is so high because when the game was released, it was mindblowing how good it was and you didn't really know that you would be missing reverts or spine changes that much, sure it meant that whenever you went vert you would almost always end your combo but it also meant that the combo multipliers and time limit extender while in a combo weren't as broken as later games so the high score's were still a challenge to get. I think the sentiment of THUG2 and THAW being worse than THUG1 and the THPS games is mainly because the scope (and focus point) of the game changed. The first 5 games were really skateboarding games, sure there was a ton of nonsense in them but the major focus was skateboarding in a somewhat realistic setting (just ignoring the part where you did things like jumping helicopters or skitching elephants), while THUG2 ramped up the Jackass in it with ridiculous stunts and with THAW you're being a borderline domestic terrorist. There's no suspension of disbelief with those games and I think it's why it turned a lot of people (including me) off following games, even though mechanically they were still great. And when the mechanics took a nosedive is when the series really died.

I personally love svr 08, the gm mode is my favourite mode in wrestling games

my only complaint about THAW is that I wish you could play as a woman in the story mode, when I was a kid I was so sad that I couldn't be a girl :(

The presentation is good. The gameplay.....not so much. I mean, I can play all these songs on a real guitar. Hell, I can play "Through the Fire and Flames" on a real guitar. But I can't play Rock Band. The game has nothing to do with playing music. It's a reaction test...

VPW 64 is more of an upgraded version of World Tour. The features in VPW 64 were later introduced and used in wcw revenge. The same could be said for VPW 2. Also, there were two ECW games. Ecw hardcore revolution and anarchy rulez, which is the same thing as HR. The only difference is it didn't get a n64 release
