Try using school glue as your background. Use it thickly.

With your miter shears all you need to do is replace the blade. Not buy a whole new pair. The blades are pretty cheap.... Della. 😊

Deckover ruined some of the boards on our deck. It peeled up in a couple places and water got in and rotted the board. Your hacks are beautiful though
